Kidz Sports: Basketball is just another piece of shovelware for gamers to sift through when looking for the real stars of the system. Like Ice Hockey, Data Design Interactive’s adaptation of basketball is a complete and utter failure in the gameplay department, and its all too obvious that the company is catering to the lowest form of human intelligence with this one. It’s games like these that make us wish the official Nintendo seal of quality meant something, and it’s baffling to think the company wouldn’t support games because they’re too violent, but has no problem putting countless titles on the shelves that do nothing but exploit the console. Kidz Sports: Basketball makes NBA Live 08 (4.9/10) for Wii look like pure gold, and that’s nothing short of sick.
