Gnosia è un'occasione sprecata, un gioco che si affanna troppo a ripercorrere le orme di altri giochi finendo col perdere di vista sé stesso. A fronte di una storia interessante e una splendida estetica, l'intera esperienza soffre a causa di un'intelligenza artificiale deficitaria, della mancanza di coerenza tra gli eventi all'interno di uno stesso loop e dello sviluppo inesistente dei personaggi, che portano a un continuo girotondo nella speranza di arrivare alla conclusione e a un aumento della frustrazione per l'illogicità con cui si svolgono certi processi.

Dungeon of the Endless is a clever mix of roguelike elements, tower defense gameplay, and resource management. Balancing these various mechanics, especially the resources used for tower defense, is challenging yet rewarding. The characters are interesting as well, but with some starting characters clearly being better than others, it leaves some of them on the sidelines.

In conclusion Kaze and the Wild Masks was a game I was hyped for …. And it delivered. This can be compared to Donkey Kong Country 2 from back in the day. Platforming fans and gamers that take a shine to retro-styled games will like this. The easy mode makes it more accessible to those who might have more difficulty with platforming while not penalizing the player for choosing it. Kaze and the Wild Masks is quality 90’s gaming … today.
