Triangle Strategy boasts a deep story with an involved battle system that remains fun throughout and approachable to those who might not have a strategic head. The cutscenes can be overly long and choices don’t have as big of an impact as they should, but it’s still a great strategy game that you can really sink your teeth into.

Avec cette troisième ressortie et Xbox Series, Grand Theft Auto V n'a jamais été aussi beau sur consoles. Résolution en 4K, framerate à 60 images par seconde, Ray-Tracing... Ce portage utilise efficacement les capacités techniques des consoles next-gen pour offrir le rendu le plus agréable possible, notamment avec des temps de chargement grandement réduits. Au-delà de ça, GTA V reste ce qui l'est, à savoir un incroyable open-world rempli d'activités, mais qui date de 2013 et qui accuse donc le nombre des années sur certains points comme les animations faciales. Mais plus que le mode solo, c'est surtout GTA Online qui ressort gagnant de cette arrivée et Xbox Series avec l'ajout d'un tutoriel pour les nouveaux joueurs, un contenu exclusif et toutes les améliorations graphiques et techniques du jeu de base. Un portage qui se destine donc aux joueurs du mode en ligne plutôt qu'à ceux qui ont fini l'aventure de Michael, Franklin et Trevor il y a de ça des années, faute de nouveautés majeures.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful that Phantom Breaker has finally arrived stateside. As an enjoyable, accessible anime fighter, I’m sure I’ll be revisiting Omnia regularly, much like I do with Melty Blood: Type Luna and BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. But it’s disheartening that the developers couldn’t provide a more dynamic tutorial or even a list of movesets in the pause menu. While diehard fighting game fans will want to jump into the ring, more prudent players might want to wait to see if these blemishes will get patched.

The first post-season pass DLC is a substantial slab of new plot, gear, and abilities but never anything more than that. If you loved the base game, this is a lot more of exactly the same.

In tutta franchezza verrebbe da dire che Persona 4 Arena Ultimax si propone più come un semplice porting che come una vera operazione di rimasterizzazione, non fosse per l’inclusione dei DLC e per una limata al comparto grafico. Si tratta oggi come allora di un ottimo picchiaduro 2D, profondo e accessibile quanto basta per iniziare anche i neofiti all’arte dei giochi di combattimento, ma di là dall’assicurazione di un comparto online all’altezza mi sarei aspettato un qualche extra che potesse giustificare l’ennesimo ritorno nell’arena anche per i veterani. Ammettendo questo personalissimo cruccio, mi pare comunque un’operazione più che degna d’interesse, specie considerando i contenuti dedicati agli appassionati.

Meticulously paced to a fault, Triangle Strategy doesn't give off the best first impression. Stick with it, though, and you'll be rewarded with engaging gameplay and a gripping story that constantly delivers.
