Majora's Mask is a rich, complicated game and quite distinct from its predecessor despite appearances. As with Ocarina, the existence of the 3DS remaster only serves to highlight the game design shortcomings of the N64 original, but even if that updated version remains the 'easiest' way to get into the game — especially for newcomers — that doesn't render the original version 'unplayable' or undesirable. The fact is Majora's Mask is still magnificent, delivering the usual Zelda blend of action and adventure through a skewed, surreal lens that feels thrilling to this day and remains unique in the series. With music, visuals and characters that create an incredible mood, Majora's Mask turns watching the end of the world approach into a pleasurable experience.

Grid Legends si conferma un titolo divertente e fruibile, ma su cui si deve ancora lavorare. L’inserimento di molte modalità di gioco non basta a compensare del tutto la perdita della propria essenza. Tante vetture, tanti tracciati e tante idee, alcune, però, ancora troppo acerbe. Pensando alla sua completa trasformazione in un titolo arcade, possiamo dirci soddisfatti del modello di guida, migliorato e adatto a tutti. Con aiuti più o meno evidenti, permette alla maggior parte dell’utenza di approcciarsi senza frustrazione alcuna. Anche sotto il punto di vista tecnico non abbiamo motivo di lamentarci, il gioco non ha grosse sbavature e gira in maniera adeguata. Peccato per il salto quasi inesistente dal punto di vista grafico. Interessante l’idea di avere una storia sviluppata in stile documentario, meno forte la sua realizzazione. Grid Legends è il classico studente bravo “che non si applica”. Chi ama la guida arcade ritroverà certamente un gioco appagante; i vecchi fan, invece, dovranno semplicemente accontentarsi.

Il lavoro di Midgar Studio riesce nell'intento di ricalcare le orme di un capitolo di Final Fantasy proponendo un'avventura a cui in effetti non manca niente, da gruppo di personaggi - ognuno con la sua storia di fondo più o meno approfondita - al sistema di combattimento tattico a turni. Al tempo stesso però nessuno di questi elementi sembra sviluppato a dovere e la trama decisamente debole non riesce a tenere alta l'attenzione del giocatore. Il risultato è un gioco tutto sommato gradevole che però risulta al tempo stesso notevolmente dimenticabile una volta conclusa la sua avventura.

FAR: Changing Tides is largely more of the same. With how good the first title is, that’s not a bad thing, but it leaves a little something to be desired. Great sound design and music, as well as incredible environmental art, don’t quite balance out the pacing issues, hard as they try. Your new vessel has more components to juggle than last time, and it’s mechanically satisfying, but you spend too much time doing it. While traveling underwater does add a new gameplay component to account for, the puzzles don’t offer enough of a challenge. All that said, Changing Tides is still worth your time.
