After the Fall n'est pas désagréable, mais l'ensemble est beaucoup trop générique et passe-partout pour marquer de son empreinte la ludothèque du PlayStation VR. Arizona Sunshine avait posé les bases, cette suite spirituelle les optimise et ne manque pas de fun et de nervosité en coopération. Malheureusement, en dépit de quelques qualités, il n'est rien de plus qu'un gros défouloir répondant aux codes du jeu de zombies. Une alternative VR pour les fans de Left 4 Dead, mais bien inférieure au ténor du genre.

After The Fall is yet another zombie VR shooter in the line of zombie VR shooters. The team that was responsible for Arizona Sunshine tries to build upon that with a cooperative experience that succeeds in that regard, but the overall experience isn’t that satisfying. The gun mechanics with the Oculus Quest 2 mostly work great and the PVP is a nice surprise, but the overall lack of current content and annoying bugs hurt the game at launch. The idea of a VR Left 4 Dead would work better if there weren’t already a ton of L4D clones on the market.

De lanzamiento le falta contenido, que llegará gratis vía actualización, pero ni si quiera eso impide que sea un gran Left 4 Dead "en realidad virtual", muy disfrutable jugando con amigos y con el atractivo del juego cruzado entre plataformas. Todo funciona como debe, y quitando el excesivo grindeo, es un juego al que volveremos a menudo.

Shin Megami Tensei V è una grande opera, ma soprattutto un fantastico gioco di ruolo alla giapponese. Il gameplay è estremamente convincente, grazie ad un sistema di combattimento a turni immediato e tattico, supportato da una serie di sistemi profondi e strutturati. La strategia è fondamentale per avere la meglio nei tantissimi scontri che si pareranno davanti. Eppure, la presenza di una difficoltà “Sicurezza” permette a tutti di godere del disturbato e ambiguo regno del Da’at. Shin Megami Tensei V non riesce però a portare tutte le sue idee narrative alla massima espressione, con dei personaggi secondari non proprio memorabili e in generale una narrazione non sempre all’altezza dello studio giapponese. Attraversare il Da’at resta comunque estremamente affascinante, grazie ai demoni che lo abitano e ad alcuni personaggi davvero carismatici. Il peccato più grande del titolo Atlus è l’essere soffocato su una console chiaramente affaticata. Graficamente mostra il fianco a qualche critica, con un aliasing evidente e un frame rate altalenante. L’esperienza non è frustrante, ma la grande direzione artistica di Atlus viene un po’ svilita dalla sua componente tecnica. Shin Megami Tensei V resta un gioco di ruolo ambizioso e intenso, imperdibile.
