Il titolo analizzato è da molti considerato un successore spirituale del franchise di XCOM e, sebbene per certi versi non riesce a raggiungerne il fascino, per altri Phoenix Point Behemoth Edition è in grado di superare abbondantemente l’opera di Firaxis Games. In termini di gameplay, infatti, Phoenix riesce a distinguersi per la sua complessità e la profondità delle meccaniche, di cui XCOM ne gratta la superficie. Purtroppo, a limitare il gioco sussistono diversi elementi: una trama non proprio originale ed un comparto tecnico e di prestazioni piuttosto discutibile. Sicuramente, il prodotto di Snapshot Games e Julian Gollop risulta essere un must have per coloro che fremono dalla voglia di mettere le mani su un titolo gestionale e strategico a turni e, pertanto, ci sentiamo di consigliarvelo.

Diablo II remains untouched from its original release outside of new graphics and quality of life changes, but that's mostly not a problem. It was ahead of its time back in 2000, and it's barely behind over twenty years later.

Eastward is a masterful title sure to put Pixpil on the map. The pixel art and animations are top notch, the characters are brilliantly well-written and the story intriguing. The gameplay is perfect blend of RPG and action-adventure and there’s so much game to play. Not to mention the entirety of Earth Born. Eastward should be high on any indie fan’s watchlist!
