Sable è un'avventura con i suoi ritmi, tutta incentrata sul senso di libertà e di scoperta alla ricerca del nuovo sé. Il rito della Planata è un lungo viaggio fatto di semplici quest, un percorso che ci ha fatto conoscere la popolazione e la storia di Midden, un affascinante pianeta desertico reso indimenticabile da uno stile grafico unico e davanti a cui è difficile restare impassibili. Purtroppo Sable ha anche parecchie cadute di stile, se si toglie la poesia resta un open world abbastanza piatto, ed è soprattutto vittima di qualche difetto tecnico di troppo, tante imperfezioni che purtroppo spezzano la magia.

Me lo he pasado muy bien explorando el mundo de Ni no Kuni 2 en Nintendo Switch. Su sistema de combate es efectista y divertido, aunque también falto de opciones, lo que a medio plazo acaba haciendo que sus batallas se vuelvan algo repetitivas. Lo mismo ocurre con algunas misiones y mecánicas de juego que parecen estar ahí para alargar la duración del juego, y no para aportar algo de valor, lo que en general afea la experiencia. Pero aún con todas sus asperezas, y algunos problemas de rendimiento, Ni no Kuni 2 es un buen RPG rol con un encanto especial y un estilo visual y sonoro de enorme calidad. Su adaptación a Nintendo Switch es una gran noticia para todo fan del rol, así que si te gustan los JRPG, dale una oportunidad porque sabrá recompensarte con un emocionante y divertido viaje a un mundo de ensueño.

Sable is high on the list of game of the year contenders in one jam packed with them. It’s a gorgeous, immersive coming of age story that happens organically and at your own pace - you can see as much or as little of the game as you like. While it certainly has its share of issues, Midden is just a place you have to visit.

Kitaria Fables was a highly anticipated game for me, but it let me down severely. Its cute characters and graphics, good score, and solid combat were overshadowed by the massive amount of grinding that is required, the sudden extreme difficulty spike, and the plethora of loading screens mixed with slow movement and lack of fast travel locations. It was a chore to play this, and it pains me to say that.

F.I.S.T. Forged in Shadow Torch features complex combat, a huge and incredibly detailed map to explore, loads of secrets to find, a lengthy campaign, and gorgeous visuals. While I may have had a few minor gripes and do wish there was less required backtracking, I had loads of fun chasing down The Legion and its Iron Dogs and unraveling the mystery of the spark. F.I.S.T. is a must play for fans of the metroidvania genre.

Hindsight 20/20: Wrath of Raakshasa tries to convince you that your choices matter and that you should feel bad about some choices and good about others, but they don't matter because you don’t connect with the characters or the world they inhabit. Your choices change outcomes, but many of them feel unnatural or contrived, and most are signposted making it feel like the game is trying to tell you that choices matter rather than letting you experience the impact. Tack on an awful presentation and bland combat and you have the recipe for a game that ultimately doesn’t matter.
