Cruis'n Blast è un racing genuinamente arcade, senza alcuna velleità non solo simulativa, ma lontana persino dalle più basilari leggi della fisica. Pur allontanandosi dalla fisica caratteristica della saga Burnout, Cruis'n Blast propone la medesima immediatezza, i controlli generosi e la velocità furiosa dei primissimi capitoli della saga di Criterion. Tutti i percorsi del gioco sono infarciti di rampe, scorciatoie, crolli, esplosioni, in prove assai più simili a folli montagne russe piuttosto che a gare automobilistiche. Improntato sui riflessi e il colpo d'occhio, il titolo di Raw Thrills raggiunge appieno il suo scopo, intrattenendo in maniera spassosa e senza fronzoli. Purtroppo, questa audace essenzialità sconfina anche nei contenuti, privando il gioco di qualsiasi modalità online e con una progressione che si basa quasi esclusivamente sullo sbloccaggio di nuovi mezzi. Con il materiale a disposizione si poteva fare molto di più per spingere il giocatore ad affrontare nuovamente i medesimi percorsi. Cruis'n Blast, invece, pur non lesinando le classiche opzioni per giocatore singolo, rimane aggrappato alla sua anima arcade, rinunciando a tutto il resto. Se desiderate un gioco di guida d'altri tempi e totalmente sopra le righe, l'avete appena trovato. L'importante, come sempre, è capire bene cosa si porta a casa.

In an odd way, then, Glass Bottom Games has captured the truth of the situation; contrary to its mission of cuteness, it has made a game that feels hollow-boned, caged by unflattering mechanics.

WarioWare: Get It Together, despite its rather short campaign, features over 200 incredibly funny, absurd, and downright creative microgames for players to complete. You’ll find yourself laughing your way through the experience, fighting with your friends over who failed a game, and savoring your triumphs over the late game’s harder challenges. The addition of the Emporium, Break Room, Missions, Play-O-Pedia, and Wario Cup are nice and will keep the game fresh for many players well after they complete the story, but a few players may not enjoy the grind to unlock all the Prezzies available. As it stands, WarioWare: Get It Together is a great, though short-lived, game – perfect for a night in with a friend.

Overall, if you want to experience all the highs in the life of a bus company without any real punishments to worry about then Bus Simulator 21 is the game for you. It’s a surprisingly engaging experience when it all runs smoothly and there’s definitely fun to be had here as you begin connecting routes and districts together. It must be said the multiplayer experience isn’t fantastic right now thanks to consistent connection issues, although should they not be present at any point the experience would certainly be enjoyable, but this isn’t a game that requires friends to enjoy and whilst there are some questionable occasions that arise, the general experience brings a believable and enjoyable life in the life of a bus company.

Madden 22 is the next year’s instalment on the franchise and I feel it’s gone back a step. Yes, it looks graphically better, but otherwise it’s really not that much different to previous instalments. The career mode is a roll-forward from previous years, as are the achievements. EA could do so much more with the Madden franchise and it’s a shame they haven’t executed it as well as I’d hope.

NBA 2K22 continues to assert the series' reputation as one of the best sports sims in the business. It's an incredibly enjoyable game to play, even if the options surrounding the on-court action continue to be maddeningly inconsistent.

NBA 2K22 spreads itself a little too thin off the court, but it genuinely takes strides on it. The game’s rewritten defensive system makes for a much more enjoyable experience across all modes, where you feel rewarded for using the ball effectively and engineering open looks. MyCareer’s first foray into non-NBA activities could do with fleshing out, and there’s still an overreliance on advertising and microtransactions. But with one of the most complete Franchise modes on the market, and with exceptional presentation across the board, this is a series at the top of its game again.

Uno spettacolo che mi ha convinto poco: le idee ci sono e l'ambientazione è anche resa bene ma a conti fatti gli spettacoli che durano troppo e lo scarso divertimento proprio in fase di "card game" penalizza un'esperimento altrimenti intrigante. Tutte le meccaniche di contorno come i viaggi e le ricette di cucina appesantiscono il gioco anziché sfaccettarlo a dovere e spesso si ha l'impressione di avere scarso controllo su ciò che accade.
