I was pretty much sold on Art of Rally the first time I saw it, but perhaps what might have truly sealed the deal was the line the large buddha statue laid on me in the intro, “we are in a parallel universe, where Group B was never cancelled”. Art of Rally is coming to Game Pass and there’s no excuse for anyone not to give it a try, unless you absolutely loathe racing games. It should appeal to any one with even the slightest interest in racing games, but will also satisfy the racing game veterans. The art style is sublime – I know some players might not be into the non-realistic graphics. It doesn’t get better than this in terms of pure art, and overall fun, and Art of Rally is both.

Foreclosed è un gioco concreto nel suo andare dritto al punto senza perdersi per strada, e frullando insieme diversi elementi di gameplay riesce a proporre un’avventura cyberpunk che si lascia giocare con un certo piacere. Il lavoro svolto dal team milanese è apprezzabile, tanto da farlo rientrare nella sfera di quei progetti che certificano i passi in avanti compiuti dal settore videoludico italiano. Peccato che l’esigua longevità e alcuni limiti produttivi non abbiano permesso ad Antab Studio di sfruttare al massimo alcune delle loro buone idee, ludicamente parlando, ma tutto sommato nelle poche ore di gioco si ha la possibilità di apprezzare tanto l’estetica quanto la sostanza che permeano Foreclosed. Se vi capita dategli una possibilità, tenendo comunque a mente la durata risicata dell’esperienza single player e l’assenza di grossi spunti per rivivere le vicende di Evan Kapnos.

Au final, Art Of Rally est une petite perle du Xbox Game Pass comme nous les aimons tant. Le jeu n'est pas parfait mais il procure de bonnes sensations tout en gardant une légèreté qui est rarement vu. Il va droit au but et propose l'essentiel. Oui, nous pouvons chipoter sur certains points mais ces derniers ne gâcheront en rien l'expérience. N'hésitez pas si vous possédez le Xbox Game Pass et si vous êtes fans de jeux de rallye, ce titre est parfait pour vous faire patienter avant WRC 10.

Avec son univers de bande dessiné au trait alléchant, Foreclosed a su se montrer plutôt séduisant au fil des vignettes et des changements d'angles de vue. Mais gameplay comme narration se voient bien trop limités, procurant une expérience trop en surface, qui s'achève brusquement sans parvenir à nous engager suffisamment dans son univers pourtant attrayant. Et la patte chatoyante de Foreclosed a bien trop de mal à pallier la pâleur de ses phases d'action.
