Stray won’t challenge you, frustrate you, or take up too much of your time. Perhaps that’s why we enjoyed it so much. It plays like an open-world point-and-click paired with largely on-rails action sequences. Some minor gripes and expected disparities between the Switch port and versions elsewhere aside, as we sauntered around its post-apocalyptic environments on all fours, Stray did an impeccable job of making us want to talk to everyone and explore everything it had to offer – and we had an appetite for more once it was all over. To us, that’s the mark of a compelling adventure.

Kill Knight manages to mix hectic and ultra-responsive arcade gameplay with a fun layer of resource management and strategy to create a great challenge to bite into. The visuals are splendid, the enemies never stop coming, and the battle is glorious!

Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice è un ottimo adattamento mobile dal punto di vista tecnico, ma i suoi problemi derivano dalla rielaborazione effettuata sulla struttura del gioco, per adattare l'ottima formula del gestionale survival al modello free-to-play con le sue tipiche esigenze di monetizzazione. Non è raro che capiti nel mercato mobile, intendiamoci, ma se si pensa al fatto che la serie poteva semplicemente essere trasposta in questo ambito con pochi accorgimenti risultando praticamente perfetta, come dimostrato anche dall'ottima realizzazione tecnica e dal buon adattamento dell'interfaccia, è un peccato. Resta un gioco molto affascinante anche in questa forma, in grado di coinvolgere subito e rapirci almeno per una buona prima parte, almeno finché il meccanismo delle attese non comincia a intaccare troppo il ritmo e non ci si rende conto che buona parte della libertà di scelta che caratterizza i capitoli originali non viene riproposta anche in questa versione.

LEGO Horizon Adventures est une excellente aventure pour petits et grands. Ce jeu propose un nouveau style pour un jeu LEGO, tout en s’axant vers le jeune public avec de bonnes touches d’humour et un gameplay intuitif. Les puristes ne crieront pas au scandale face à la personnalisation de l’univers, mais aussi de son personnage, tout aussi fun que complète. Les fans d’Horizon regretteront peut-être la liberté prise dans la réécriture de l’histoire d’Aloy. Cependant, cet opus comblera les cœurs des petits et des grands avec un monde coloré de briques et des visuels à couper le souffle, ainsi qu’un humour qui fait mouche.
