Thunderflash is a highly competent, if uninspired release. While I enjoyed my hour long playthrough and a round or two of Survival mode, I couldn’t help but feel that the release as a whole was a missed opportunity to not only bring back the Run ‘n Gun genre, but to innovate and create something more complex. Still, as a co-op experience, it is well worth playing but unfortunately will be forgotten soon after completion.

Rencontre improbable de la physique quantique et du jazz, Genesis Noir est aussi une surprise visuelle comme vous en trouvez rarement. Avec son style tout en bichromie puisé dans les années 1960, ses personnages aux traits clairs et aux yeux expressifs, ses jeux d'échelle retournant votre cerveau et caressant votre œil, ce titre semble conçu pour vous faire traîner dans les tableaux, de peur de manquer une partie du spectacle. Sa trame narrative totalement perchée, vous faisant naviguer dans le temps et les dimensions, ne vous laisse jamais sur le bas-côté tant que vous acceptez son aspect légèrement farfelu. Si empêcher un meurtre en créant un trou noir ne vous fait pas peur, plongez tête baissée dans Genesis Noir, vous ne serez pas déçu du voyage.

Did Nightdive overreach when dusting off Shadow Man for their next IP refreshment treatment? I found slipping back into their Turok efforts to be fairly painless, both with regards to controls and quality of life. With Nightdive’s efforts seemingly being to preserve and revitalise classic 90s titles, Shadow Man Remastered sucks more life out of the uninitiated player rather than energise IP enthusiasm.

Buildings Have Feelings Too! is an early summer comfort – a relaxing puzzle game, with a little bit of city sim, that is worth playing when approached on its own terms.

Buildings Have Feelings Too! deve per forza di cose far fronte ad una serie di limitazioni di tipo tecnico, ma rappresenta la prima "prova" di un team di sviluppo abituato a lavorare su smartphone: e come prima prova, è più che soddisfacente. Si tratta di un simulatore curioso, di un gestionale stimolante, di un indie molto particolare, originale profondo. Un passatempo perfetto per i meno esperti del genere, ma in grado di dare molte soddisfazioni anche agli appassionati. La simpatia di fondo dell'intera produzione, nonché i messaggi etici (neanche troppo celati) ci permettono di consigliarla proprio a tutti. Peccato che nella manciata di lingue presenti manchi proprio l'italiano: ciò richiederà un po' di attenzione durante i tutorial, e soprattutto nelle battute scambiate tra i personaggi-edifici. Nulla di insormontabile, sia chiaro: questo è uno di quei giochi che non costa troppo, e che diverte per un congruo numero di ore (più di una decina).

Overall I am blown away at how much I have enjoyed playing MLB The Show 21. I had a mild interest in baseball but I can see myself following the sport a lot closer based on how much fun I have had so far in this game. Sure it has flaws and it’s not the easiest to just pick up and play, but that all pales in comparison to the satisfaction of crushing a pitch clean out the field.
