It Takes Two is a thoroughly entertaining and engaging cooperative journey that constantly throws interesting new mechanics and gameplay ideas into the mix. Its narrative shortcomings are disappointing, but the stylish visuals and detailed sound design make for an impressive presentation.

Le titre de People Can Fly, Outriders, nous a laissé quelque peu perplexe durant toute l’aventure : il est de ces jeux qui possèdent de bonnes idées, notamment son gameplay nerveux, frénétique et engageant; ou encore l’implantation des niveaux monde, tout cela couplé avec des mécaniques classiques et pourtant efficaces (classes, système de fabrication/amélioration). Des éléments qui feront très certainement mouche auprès des amateurs de Destiny, Borderlands, etc. Mais en dehors de cela, il a ses défauts, tels que sa narration en dent de scie et des effets visuels moins bien réussis, pour ne citer que ceux-là. Vous l’aurez compris, Outriders n’est pas LA copie parfaite du looter-shooter et n’en est pas son outsider : il emprunte beaucoup à ses aînés sans pour autant parvenir à sublimer sa propre proposition au genre et à sortir du lot. Il offre tout de même une aventure intéressante à vivre, surtout à plusieurs, mais ne restera probablement pas dans les annales.

Poison Control brengt de third-person shooter vibe van 2003 terug en dat kan zowel goed als slecht bekeken worden. Met enkele interessante RPG-aspecten en een leuke artstijl, al is dat soms ten koste van de framerate.

SaGa Frontier Remastered is a game for die hard fans of the original only. Veterans will appreciate the quality of life features along with the addition of Fuse, but everyone else will be put off by the sheer amount of grinding, barebones plot and characters, and tedious leveling system.

Chi deve acquistare Saga Frontier Remastered? Tutti coloro che a suo tempo erano troppo piccoli per godere di Saga Frontier Remastered; tutti coloro che lo giocarono e ne hanno serbato negli anni un malinconico ricordo; tutti quelli che, infine, sono semplicemente attratti da un JRPG vecchia scuola. Anche perché, contenutisticamente parlando, questo si tratta del pacchetto definitivo, il più completo e curato in circolazione (del resto sono passati quasi 25 anni). Certo, magari la riedizione avrebbe potuto essere più attenta dal punto di vista tecnico e grafico, ma non si può pretendere tutto; ciò che manca è comunque controbilanciato dalle tante possibilità di personalizzazione presenti. Il prezzo non è neppure proibitivo, quindi dategli una possibilità. Ah, le uniche lingue presenti sono l'inglese e il giapponese.

Kaze and the Wild Masks is a competently made, and mostly enjoyable addition to the platformer pantheon. However, its over-reliance on gimmicks from the past only calls to mind stronger efforts.
