Cyberpunk 2077 isn't just a disappointment because it misses the mark for CD Projekt Red. It's a disappointment because it misses the mark as a video game from any developer. It lacks the fundamental basics of a good RPG. The best moments in its narrative are tucked away in side quests. Night City is a boring, lifeless illusion of something greater. Perhaps that's a good analogy for Cyberpunk 2077 itself: A boring, lifeless illusion of something greater.

As long as the pandemic rages on, a copy of Wingspan and Discord group call is one of the better table-top experiences to be found. Social circles that value camaraderie over friendly competition should particularly enjoy the title.

Super Meat Boy è un platform per stomaci forti e non è adatto a coloro a cui scattano facilmente i nervi. Un gameplay rinnovato e all’apparenza semplice nasconde in realtà innumerevoli fattori che lo rendono molto più complesso di quel che sembra, e il merito va a un ottimo level design costruito dai ragazzi di Team Meat. La modalità principale è piuttosto corta, ma in compenso il titolo è altamente rigiocabile, grazie a un sistema in grado di generare livelli casualmente e alla versione immersa nell’oscurità di ognuno di questi. A ciò aggiungete una storia divertente e piena di citazioni e una componente artistica ben fatta e avrete un ottimo platform per gli amanti del genere. Il titolo però, nonostante tutti i suoi pregi, non ha nulla che riesca a distinguerlo dagli altri concorrenti, come invece era successo con il primo Super Meat Boy. In definitiva un buon platform ma senza quel guizzo che gli dia una marcia in più.

Chronos: Before the Ashes is a tough game to recommend to Remnant fans due to its comparatively flawed combat system and less amount of content overall. Nevertheless, I still believe that while the game does not live up to its full potential, it still has just enough charm to be worth at least a try for hardcore fans of the action-RPG genre.

Tanuki Justice is a throwback to the run and gun games of the 80s and 90s, for better or for worse. While it does sport some challenging difficulty and a distinct pixel art style, some of it goes into unfair territory and ends up being an exercise in frustration.

Nonostante le similitudini con l'ultimo capitolo di Zelda, Immortals Fenyx Rising è un prodotto che ci ha convinto pienamente. Un titolo che cerca di mettere in risalto enigmi e puzzle ambientali, contornati da una storia ben scritta accompagnata con del simpatico umorismo. Un titolo semplice ed immediato, facilmente apprezzabile da chi ha già giocato Zelda e per chi invece non ne ha avuto ancora la possibilità. Consigliamo caldamente il titolo a tutti gli amanti di questo genere cardine di Ubisoft e a tutti gli appassionati di mitologia greca!

Night City is a place of splendor and possibilities. Its many interesting corners have remarkable visual detail and diverse tasks that allow players to be aggressive or stealthy. Appealing characters and their tangled stories elevate Cyberpunk 2077 and it is only the technical issues and a few missing features that keep it from reaching legendary status.
