Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin è una sorpresa solo per chi non conosce i precedenti lavori di Edelweiss. Fa sorridere il fatto che un team di sviluppo formato da due persone sia riuscito nell'impresa di proporre un gioco coraggioso, appassionante e concettualmente originale, lì dove team formati da centinaia di persone spesso non riescono ad andare oltre il recinto dell'ovvio. Certo, le sbavature non mancano e alcune scelte radicali, in particolare nel sistema di combattimento, possono indispettire. Superati alcuni piccoli scogli, le avventure di Sakuna e dei suoi amici umani diventano un'esperienza memorabile, che con il passare delle ore di gioco diventa molto più articolata di quanto non faccia pensare inizialmente, nonostante qualche inevitabile ridondanza.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising is an excellent new adventure title for Ubisoft, full to bursting with genuine comedy, excellent gameplay, and devious puzzles. While there are a few technical hiccups, underutilized DualSense, and sub-30 fps Switch ports, the game is fantastic on all platforms. Come for the bizarre Greek mythology, stay for the stellar gameplay -- Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a fantastic holiday treat.

Chronos: Before the Ashes is an interesting game, but not a consistent one. Its world is occasionally fascinating, some mechanics are quite interesting and its general theming adds a lot to the universe — that being said, it offers plenty of ideas it fails to deliver on and could do with a little more to make it really stand out

Chronos: Before the Ashes è un prequel piuttosto blando, nonostante alcune sue peculiarità - come l'avanzamento dell'età - dettino un sistema di progressione atipico nel panorama soulslike. Il titolo propone un'esperienza di gioco alquanto discreta e piuttosto breve. Il suo combat system, ai nostri occhi, è risultato lento e poco esaltante, ma tutto sommato funziona ed è questo che importa veramente. Non ci sentiamo colpiti però dalla narrazione, che capitola in una conclusione fin troppo casuale, dandoci l'impressione di un racconto addirittura troncato piuttosto che di ricongiungimento con l'opera originale (Remnant: From the Ashes). Insomma, un titolo non troppo esaltante, su cui poter mettere mano per mera curiosità.
