Doom Eternal’s core shooting is strong thanks to grand weapons and enemy variety, but it buries the action under irksome resource management and stilted combat arenas. The bland multiplayer and silly platforming only hurt it more, driving this sequel below previous games in the series.

Totally Reliable Delivery Service delivers some goofy laughs with family or friends as you fumble your way to a destination without completely destroying your cargo, but like a package that’s been bashed into your front door a few times before finally being pushed through your mail slot, it’s noticeably rough around the edges and some of its contents are broken.

The Complex est un bon FMV, un jeu du genre qui à l’image de Late Shift prend le parti de proposer un véritable film sur lequel influer par nos actions. Si certaines actions sont anecdotiques, d’autres mènent en revanche à des conclusions parfois très différentes, voire surprenantes. Le film reste cependant très sage, sans erreur mais sans éclat, et s’appuie surtout sur le très bon travail de ses acteurs pour nous faire passer un bon moment. The Complex est un jeu qui assure sans aucun doute sa mission récréative pour les passionnés du genre, et constitue un point d’entrée intéressant dans le genre pour son accessibilité et sa réalisation très propre.

Non fosse per la declinazione catastrofica del genere avventura, da noi assai poco battuta e quindi piuttosto invitante, Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories sarebbe un gioco obiettivamente e ampiamente insufficiente. Troppo vecchia e rigida la sua struttura di gioco; troppo imbalsamato il suo sistema di controllo. La spiccata libertà di scelta offerta a giocatori e giocatrici per quanto riguarda le opzioni di dialogo e di pensiero contribuisce sì a "colorare" d'etica l'esperienza, e sul finale a riservare qualche sorpresa, ma rimane troppo spesso in superficie, sovrastata dall'estrema linearità della progressione. Su Switch, poi, il gioco risulta tecnicamente atroce, sia sul fronte frame rate che texture. Poteva essere una grave e inappellabile bocciatura, invece è solo un affascinante disastro.

Performances are mostly solid aside from the main protagonist, but the lacklustre script with a severe lack of character development aside from large amounts of exposition make it difficult to really care about any of them. Some of the endings are quite abrupt, leaving an unsatisfying finish. I find it unlikely that The Complex will win fans over to the genre, but those who do have a dedication may find something to enjoy.

The Complex is a decently serviceable FMV game that has an ambitious relationship mechanic that drives choices forward. However, with some odd presentation choices and limited freedoms, this feels more like a midday movie matinee than a crowd-pleasing blockbuster.
