Ghost Recon Breakpoint reprend parfaitement le flambeau après un Wildlands mémorable. Ubisoft parvient à sublimer sa vision du TPS en monde ouvert et à y insuffler suffisamment de nouveautés pour séduire les fans de la franchise. Généreux tel est le terme à dégainer pour qualifier cette nouvelle aventure des Ghosts. L'authenticité et la survie, centrales à l'expérience, accentuent l'urgence des situations et ce sentiment oppressant d'être la proie, et non plus le chasseur, sur Auroa. Cet archipel transcendé par le réalisme de ses graphismes et un sens affûté du détail est une invitation au voyage et à l'exploration que ce soit seul ou à plusieurs. Car Breakpoint se savoure véritablement en coopération avec sa campagne et ses raids intégralement jouables à 4, sans oublier son mode compétitif “Ghost War".

Ghost Recon Breakpoint non è un titolo capace di stupire, ma è certamente quel tipo di gioco solido capace di intrattenere per ore e ore. La campagna mette in scena una storia ottimamente scritta, in linea con la firma di Tom Clancy, ma incapace di reggere, da sola, il peso dell’intera esperienza ludica. I meriti del gioco sono, se mai, da ricercare in altri lidi. Ovvero, nell’ampiezza della mappa, nella credibilità degli scenari, nella necessità di cooperare con un gruppo di amici. Ecco, Breakpoint il meglio dell’offerta lo concede proprio ad un certo tipo di utenza, già innamorata di Wildlands, della serie e, più in generale, ad un certo tipo di videogioco. Enorme, immenso, ricco di cose da fare e da metabolizzare. Non sempre rifinito alla perfezione. In attesa di valutare con pazienza quanto l’endgame e le missioni stagionali avranno effettivamente da offrire, Breakpoint sembrerebbe davvero essere un degno erede di Wildlands. Più grasso e più grosso, imperfetto per sua stessa natura e, comunque, più bello da vedere. Una sorta di luna park per aspiranti Ghost che farà felici i fan della serie.
