Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 è il gioco di golf che segnerà da oggi in poi il punto di riferimento per tutti gli esponenti del genere. Il confronto con altri titoli, soprattutto su altre piattaforme, diventa impossibile: troppa è la distanza, troppa la qualità dell’innovazione portata da un semplice "aggeggino", troppo grande il balzo dal pulsante al movimento. Lo swing è la chiave di volta di una struttura ludica eccezionale, perfettamente supportata da tantissime modalità di gioco e che un comparto tecnico non eccezionale (ma comunque piacevole) non può scalfire. Il WiiMotion Plus aveva già convinto, ma se usato in questi termini appare davvero imprescindibile.

Il serait aisé de dire que le nouveau titre de Twisted Pixel est explosif, mais c'est bien le cas, alors ne nous privons pas d'utiliser ce qualificatif facile. Frais, bien réalisé et remarquablement construit, 'Splosion Man ravira les amateurs de plates-formes à l'ancienne. Le jeu démontre une nouvelle fois la vitalité des petits studios et prouve à ceux qui en doutaient qu'une bonne idée et de la passion font plus que des millions de dollars.

Shatter is a delight from beginning to end. The new ideas it brings to the table for this aging genre will make it hard to go back to Arkanoid. A multiplayer mode or something more substantial to do after completing the story would have been nice, but those minor disappointments don't keep this from being a must-play game. Shatter stands right up there with Breakout and Arkanoid as one of (if not the) best brick-breaking games ever made.

Pro Cycling Manager 2009 Le Tour de France è la migliore simulazione ciclistica sulla piazza e un gioco in grado di dare grandi soddisfazioni. È accuratissimo e studiato in ogni minimo dettaglio, cosa che farà felici gli appassionati. Inoltre, ogni scelta fatta nella fase manageriale, sembra avere effettivamente peso durante le gare. Detto questo però, è anche vero che di innovazioni rispetto alle edizioni precedenti, cosmetica a parte, ce ne sono pochine, limitate soprattutto a qualche aggiustamento dovuto alle critiche ricevute dai fan. Insomma, se siete appassionati di ciclismo, non potete lasciarvelo sfuggire e potete considerarlo senza remore il miglior titolo del genere (aumentate pure di 0.5 il voto finale). Tutti gli altri ci pensino bene prima di acquistarlo.

Per soli 4,99 Euro è possibile scaricare dal Playstation Network di casa Sony questo simpatico quanto semplice puzzle game, ideale per le partite mordi e fuggi di qualche minuto ma anche per lunghe sessioni improntate sul macinare record su record. Intuitivo e dalle meccaniche pratiche ai livelli più bassi di difficoltà, Numblast rischia di diventare un flagello della frustrazione e del caos nelle situazioni più avanzate e concitate, innervosendo il giocatore anche a causa dei continui improperi dell’odiosissima scimmia.Consigliato agli amanti del genere, senza aspettarsi troppo dalla profondità di gioco.

Resurrecting a much-loved series of games is a difficult and controversial task. The Monkey Island games are indisputably some of the best point-and-click titles ever created, blending humour and adventure together seamlessly. So, after a 9 year hiatus the news of a new episodic entry had me excited but apprehensive.

Little King’s Story misses the boat in a few key areas for me personally – the largest of which is the lack of IR pointing in a game specifically based around real-time strategy elements – but at the end of the day there’s no denying that this title has serious staying power, an immense amount of charm, and is downright fun despite its faults. Yasuhira Wada of Harvest Moon fame is back with a series that – while still very early – has the makings of being just as big, if not even bigger, than his most well-known franchise. There are a few quirks I don’t personally dig, such as the use of public domain music when the amazingly talented Yoko Shimomura is on the project, and I’ve made my gripes with a Wii-exclusive game not using Wii-exclusive tech, but at the end of the day it comes down to whether or not this is an entertaining game despite any of its faults, and it absolutely is. If you – like I – have been waiting for this game for over two and a half years now, the wait is over, and the final package is one developer Cing should be proud of. This is a game with impressive humor and style, a beautiful design, and a world I can’t wait to play though again and again in a hopefully very successful franchise. On the control front though, more could be done, and Little King’s Story leaves me wanting in ways that are both good and bad. Hopefully this is just the beginning for our newfound king.

Secret Agent Clank è spassoso, condito da personaggi irresistibili e battute fulminanti. Eppure questo porting si rivela realizzato in fretta e furia, con un unico cambiamento apportato, in peggio, alla gestione della telecamera. Chi se l'è perso su PSP e adora la serie alla follia troverà un simpatico divertissement, gli altri possono pure dedicarsi ad altro.
