Bénéficiant d'une ambiance soignée, d'une 3D impeccable et d'un gameplay aux petits oignons, il ne manquait pas grand-chose à Moon pour prétendre au statut de hit sur DS. En l'état, Moon est tout de même un très bon jeu d'ambiance et un FPS réussi qui ravira autant les amateurs d'histoires futuristes que les maniaques de la gâchette.

Virtua tennis 2009 resta fedele alla tradizione sotto tutti i punti di vista, ed è proprio per questo motivo che i programmatori non hanno optato per il numero 4 da affiancare al nome, vista anche la recente pubblicazione del terzo capitolo. Giocabilissimo, divertente e spassoso nella componente dei minigiochi, l’ultimo esponente di questa gloriosa serie riesce ancora una volta a ritagliarsi una piccola fetta di spazio nel sovraffollato mercato videoludico moderno, pur presentandosi in tutto e per tutto (se si esclude una maggior cura nella componente online, ormai fondamentale, e qualche piccolo accorgimento sul campo) identico ai predecessori, amplificando ulteriormente l’effetto dejà vu provato con Virtua tennis 3. Adatto agli irriducibili appassionati della serie, a chi per un motivo o per un altro non si è mai avvicinato ad un Virtua tennis e a tutti coloro che cercano un prodotto valido ed immediato, dai forti connotati arcade e dal sapore unico: quello dei primi cabinati da bar in 3 dimensioni, dove era ancora il gameplay l’aspetto più curato ed importante di un gioco.

Don't be pessimistic after the disastrous Guitar Hero On Tour games, Rock Band Unplugged is another fine example in a very young franchise. It looks like the real Rock Band but plays like Amplitude, the perfect combination as far as I'm concerned. Don't let the duplicate songs fool you, Rock Band Unplugged is one of the best music games ever made for a portable game system!

Knights in the Nightmare may be – in fact, I’m pretty sure it is – the most complex game I’ve ever played. There’s a near-endless list of options, strategy, stats, and gameplay mechanics to learn, and I could see serious players spending an hour or two learning the ins and outs of the game via tutorials and tips, trying a few missions to get the feel for it all, and then restarting their file once they really get the game. It’s deep, and for some it’s going to be too much. For others though, this is the depth and strategy that is missing from current-day games. If you’re up for a truly original, genre-less experience that innovates and pushes players in a way few titles will, Knights in the Nightmare is meant for you. And with every new piece of the puzzle comes a whole new wave of possibilities. By the time you figure it all out, you’ll have discovered a game so robust and truly complete that you – like me – will want to see everything it has to offer. Knights in the Nightmare is an awesome addition to the DS library. Editor’s Note: Knights in the Nightmare also comes packed in with a CD soundtrack for the game as well as a pre-order full-size art book. These extras were not taken into account for the review of the game itself, but do make for a great collection all at the standard game price. Keep it up Atlus. This is some great fan service for your loyal customers.

The Sims 3 may not sway non-Sims fans from changing their minds about the series, but there’s more than enough here to please the many legions of fans already out there. This is simply a better playing Sims experience, and once you experience the freedom to hit the town without hitting a load screen you’ll be hard-pressed to go back to any of the earlier games. Blowing up the size of the game was certainly a risk, but it was a sensible and overdue one, and kudos to EA for recognizing that the decade-old formula needed some growth. And while there’s still plenty of room for more innovation, we’ll settle for The Sims 3 for now. It delivers a solid foundation for what should be many more years of Sims sales dominance.

SBK-09 è un ottimo gioco simulativo che porta su console le emozioni di un campionato Superbike sempre affascinante e pieno di sorprese. Se siete dei novizi del genere, preparatevi ad affinare la vostra guida. Nonostante lo stile arcade sia più semplice degli altri, SBK conserva un aspetto simulativo che richiede comunque un impegno del giocatore nell'impostazione delle giuste traiettorie e una certa sensibilità nella frenata. Se la vostra passione corre sulle due ruote non esitate di fronte a SBK-09, Milestone anche quest'anno dimostra di saperci fare con le due ruote (non dimentichiamo che lo scorso anno svilupparono MotoGP 08 e SBK-08) riuscendo a creare un titolo completo e interessante che evidenzia la crescita della casa di sviluppo italiana.
