En conclusion, Age of Empires : Mythologies DS est un jeu bien pensé pour les plus de treize ans n'aimant pas uniquement mettre leur dextérité à l'épreuve, mais ayant juste envie de s'imaginer chef d'une armée du temps des héros et des dieux. Et accessoirement, de jouer à l'un des meilleurs jeux actuels au tour par tour sur DS.

And that's what really makes Pokemon so great: its little elements expand the experience even after the main game's over. If you've finished the RPG you can still hang about the town collecting the hundreds of creatures and levelling them up for use in local and online battles. Nintendo also ensures that the Pokemon investment will carry over to the console, where the player's collection can be transferred to Wii Pokemon titles like Pokemon Battle Revolution and Pokemon Ranch. I'm reluctant to recommend Pokemon Platinum Version to anyone who's plowed through either Diamond or Pearl in its entirety. Unless, of course, you're completely addicted to the collection element and absolutely must have every creature available. However, for those who haven't jumped into the Pokemon adventure yet, Platinum is the one to back. Even though it's not a huge advancement over Diamond and Pearl, it does have a larger list of features. The single player adventure has a bit more to explore, and more importantly the online component is fleshed out a bit more compared to the 2007 releases.

Grand Ages: Rome is an enjoyable game, but if you've played any of the other city-builders that have come along in the last ten years, you'll quickly grow bored of this one. The pieces are all in place in terms of city structures and jobs, but keeping people satisfied is relatively easy and is repeated in each and every mission to the point of becoming tedious. More variety and more challenge would definitely help to improve the game's appeal, as would a more lively visual style.

Trivial Pursuit è un party game che sorprende per la sua dinamicità e per il divertimento che procura, soprattutto grazie al multiplayer locale. Ben curate ed estremamente valide le tre modalità di gioco, fra le quali Svuota il Tabellone riesce nell’impresa non facile di rendere il gioco godibile anche in single player. Sono presenti inoltre diverse modalità di risposta oltre le classiche risposte multiple. Insomma una buona dose di implementazioni ed innovazioni rispetto al classico gioco da tavolo, che rendono l’esperienza su console probabilmente più varia ed appagante. Sicuramente Trivial Pursuit da la possibilità di passare serate piacevoli in compagnia degli amici, e potrà anche soddisfare la voglia di cacciatori di trofei e di scalatori di classifiche in modalità single player, però la mancata implementazione di un online mode mina pericolosamente la longevità del gioco. Nel complesso siamo difronte ad un buon titolo che sorprende e diverte aldilà di ogni aspettativa. Purtroppo il prezzo resta, se non ai livelli dei titoli “Tripla A”, ancora abbastanza alto, e l'acquisto è dunque consigliato alle comitive di giocatori o a chi vuole animare qualche serata fra amici.

WWE Legends of Wrestlemania is what I like to call casual core game, easy to learn hard to master, and excels at giving fans nostalgia for the past glory days of wrestling with the Relive, Rewrite, and Recreate modes. However the create a legend and survival style legend killer mode does little to add any depth or worthwhile content to the game. The simplified controls are great for a younger audience and fans of a simpler time in video games. For older fans of the WWE this may seem like a quaint amusement or history lessen rather than a game to replace their copy of WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009.

I don't know how I'm going to score a game until I sit down and write the review. After reading the paragraphs preceding this one, it's clear I did not like Wheelman. When Vin Diesel is attached to a project -- whether it be a movie or game -- you expect to have to suspend your disbelief and settle in for some unbelievable shenanigans. Sadly, Wheelman pushes those ideas too far past the point of no return. Sure, the occasional hip check from a sedan is cool, but there's no story to keep you going (Why would the gangs put up with his crap?), the combat is a chore (Oh, another swarm of bad guys to block my path? Fun.), and the game doesn't look that good (Cars are just generic boxes.). I wanted Wheelman to be a guilty pleasure, like 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, but it's just guilty of being a poor game.
