No Gravity isn't a bad game, but its homebrew roots are still obvious. Does that mean the game's not worth a shot? Of course not -- just the fact that it made a successful (and impressive) transition from being an indie product to something Sony actually endorses is a commendable one. Your tolerance for laying on the fire button and scooting around in space, however, is going to determine if that ten bucks is actually worth it. For me, it's bumping up against the border, but a feeling of repetition and a bit of tedium kills the freshness the game has initially. If the price drops a few more bucks, I'm definitely pulling the trigger and I'd recommend the same to everyone else.

Roque Trooper viene a rellenar con esta adaptación para Wii el ligero vacío de juegos “serios” y de acción que se achaca a la consola de sobremesa de Nintendo. Con un acabado técnico correcto, una duración algo ajustada y alguna que otra carencia, el juego garantiza un buen rato de diversión gracias a su acción directa y sin complicaciones. Una oportunidad para sumergirse en el mundo de este legendario y azulado héroe del cómic.

Der Name des Studios Deadline Games ist bei Watchmen leider Programm: Es wirkt so, als hätten die Entwickler das annehmbare Grundgerüst kurz vor dem Start des Kinofilms mit einfallslosen Levels und Klongegnern vollgestopft. Die hübsch glänzenden Kulissen sehen auf den ersten Blick stimmungsvoll aus, man trifft aber ständig auf die gleichen Fieslinge und Hintergründe. Außerdem wirkt das komplette Spieltempo reichlich träge. Schade, dass es keinerlei kooperative Angriffe der beiden Superhelden gibt. Auch ein paar zweckentfremdete Waffen aus der Umgebung hätten nicht geschadet. Stattdessen darf man z.B. Stangen und Flaschen nur dann benutzen, wenn man sie einem Gegner abgenommen hat. Als durchwachsener Prügelsnack für zwischendurch eignet sich Watchmen allemal, gegen Größen wie Kratos oder Klassiker wie Streets of Rage stinken die zwei Superhelden aber gewaltig ab.

La strategia di THQ, dopo De Blob e dopo questo Deadly Creatures, pare indubbiamente funzionale. Tuttavia la fatica dei Rainbow Studio manca di quel quid che ogni produzione tripla A deve avere. Vuoi perché gli scontri si rivelano poco profondi (ad esclusione degli epici combattimenti con i boss), vuoi perché la fase esplorativa è ridotta ai minimi termini, vuoi per una longevità poco sopra la sufficienza e una rigiocabilità inesistente. Eppure Deadly Creatures resta un titolo consigliato a tutti quelli che cercano qualcosa di diverso. L’artisticità di molte ambientazioni è fuori ogni dubbio, e la qualità del divertimento elevata, mutuata dal forte sperimentalismo, se non del gameplay, di situazioni e contesti narrativi. Quello di Deadly Creatures è un viaggio parallelo, compiuto in un mondo microscopico, una rivisitazione particolarissima di ambienti noti (così come il gameplay è una ripresa di meccaniche già esplorate). Peccato, dunque, per tutte le imperfezioni di cui sopra e per la breve durata: forse con un budget sostanzioso e con più tempo dedicato allo sviluppo, staremmo parlando di un capolavoro e non “solo” di un buon gioco. Adatto a tutti coloro che cercano una buona dose originalità, ma che non temono ragni e simili. Sconsigliato a chi solitamente non riesce a farsi coinvolgere dalla componente stilistica.

Fans of Animal Crossing may feel that this is a little too similar for its own good, but other young gamers should have plenty of fun with their magical studies.
