Aussi surprenant que cela puisse paraître, DICE a réussi son pari un peu dingue de faire du solo avec des principes de multi. Bad Company n'est pas le FPS de l'année, il compte même un bon nombre de défauts et de lacunes mais son ambiance délirante, son rythme endiablé et son gameplay bourrin et rapide en font un titre parfait pour vous occuper en solo cet été. La suite sera assurée par un multijoueur un peu maigre mais solide. Une bonne surprise, tout le monde n'en attendait pas autant.

„Hurra! Ein Add-On, das sich nur um Nod dreht!“, das waren meine ersten Gedanken, als Kanes Rache angekündigt wurde. Doch leider bleibt die Kampagne hinter ihren Möglichkeiten zurück. Die Hintergrundgeschichte ist zwar einigermaßen unterhaltsam und versucht die C&C-Teile miteinander zu verknüpfen, aber das Ergebnis wirkt nicht wie aus einem Guss und sobald interessantere Elemente wie der Tacitus oder CABAL ins Spiel kommen, ist Schluss. Aargh! Zumindest die rasanten Missionen punkten mit ordentlicher Abwechslung und die Startphase der Einsätze ist zwischendurch recht fordernd; generell sind die Missionen besser als ihre umhüllende Geschichte. Durchaus positiv überrascht hat mich die globale Eroberung, die wie bei Dawn of War: Soulstorm, Universe at War und Empire Earth III nur eine Aneinanderreihung von Skirmish-Matches ist, jedoch mehr Freiraum beim Basisausbau, der globalen Ausbreitung sowie der Truppentaktik lässt. Zudem sind die Gefechtsbedingungen so gedreht, dass die Matches bewusst kurz und knackig sind. Obwohl die weitere Unterteilung der Fraktion in Subparteien im Prinzip keine schlechte Idee ist und die taktische Handlungspalette zweifelsohne erweitert wird, muss noch einiges an Balance-Arbeit geleistet werden, da so manche Fraktion zu stark ist. Unterm Strich ein rundum gelungener Rachefeldzug, der ohne die überraschend gute globale Eroberung im befriedigenen Mittelmaß geendet wäre.

SBK 08 se fait une place au rayon des bons jeux de motos et devrait être le concurrent numéro un de la licence MotoGP. Pourtant, il est le seul à proposer un pilotage aussi réaliste. Dommage en revanche que le contenu soit un peu juste.

In the end, Gyrostarr can be a pretty fun experience, though one that we think could use a sequel to really focus, refine, and capitalize on. The controller situation is a bit odd, as it doesn't auto-detect if a classic controller is being used, so you're constantly moving from Wii-mote to nunchuk or classic controller between games. Tilt control is added as well for those that want it, but it's totally digital, so tilt only engages the left and right directions in an "on/off" fashion, removing the finesse of motion control. The game is caught half way between a high score and overall stage-to-stage design, and multiplayer between a vs. and co-op experience in turn. Visually the game has a nice sense of speed when it actually pushes itself, but it could tend to be faster overall. The graphics look nice for a WiiWare game though, and the audio is a nice mix of shooter and F-Zero-like techno riffs. For 700 WiiWare points, it's a great option despite it's faults. We'd just love to see High Voltage Software refine the design and hit us with a sequel; though if it's put on temporary hold in order to finish Animales de la Muerte, we more than understand.

TV Show King es un juego entretenido, divertido para jugar en familia o con amigos, pero que se queda bastante corto de opciones y de vida útil. Aun así, es un claro exponente de los denominados juegos “casuales” que tanta fama están dando a Wii, y además disponible en el canal Wiiware con una gran relación calidad-precio.

At its core, Supreme Commander is a good game. It's just surprising that it passed Microsoft certification in its current form. Technical issues like crashes, slowdown, impaired AI, and inexplicable momentary lockups paired with much uglier graphics than what the PC mar this release to the point of no return. The game that PC owners adored in 2007 has received a poor port to Xbox 360 that is more of a disappointment than anything else.

Dark Mist è un titolo per hardcore gamer che hanno passato la propria infanzia davanti ai cabinati delle sale giochi, mostrando a tutti il proprio nome all’apice della classifica finale. Lo scoreboarding estremo fa da padrone, ma grazie ad un buon livello tecnico ed uno stile unico il titolo riesce ad avvicinare all’acquisto anche i neofiti del genere. La difficoltà è estrema ed il training diventa indispensabile, ma alla fine l'impegno verrà ripagato da grandi soddisfazioni. La longevità è assicurata e qualche sorpresa a livello Hard non si farà attendere... ma solo per gli spericolati giocatori che non hanno timore del buio.
