Après LocoRoco et Exit, la PSP se dote d'un nouveau concept original tout aussi accrocheur que celui de ses aînés, voire plus. Nanti d'un design singulier mais totalement en accord avec son ambiance, simple à prendre en main, intéressant dans son approche lorgnant du côté du jeu de rythme tout en y intégrant une petite gestion de troupes, Patapon innove tout en restant accessible. De fait, s'il peut s'avérer répétitif sur le long terme, l'éclectisme des environnements couplé à un vrai challenge et une jouabilité intuitive devraient réussir à le porter à bout de bras jusqu'à votre PSP.

Do yourself a favor and ignore this game. The appeal of a co-op experience is oftentimes strong, but there is essentially no merit to Conflict: Denied Ops. It offers nothing unique and has almost no production value. Shooters are a dime a dozen these days and most have this game beat at every turn.

Kaos brings the Battlefield experience to the console and delivers a solid single player experience to boot. It's not a perfect game but it's something that FPS fans should check out.

So what's the final verdict on Kirby 64's encore appearance on the Virtual Console? Good, but not great. The game is still a solid and enjoyable platforming experience for fans of the pink puffball and worth a look with its asking price of 1000 Wii Points – it's just not as versatile or as representative of the Kirby franchise as a whole as other games are, like Kirby's Adventure or Kirby Super Star. Kirby 64 on the VC is a 10 dollar investment that will earn you a couple of afternoons of simple, casual and unchallenging gameplay and then will likely not get revisited too often in your Wii's Channel Array. But if you have younger gamers in your household who need an easy and accessible platformer to get into, definitely give it a look – they'll have a blast hunting down all the missing Crystal Shards.

Rail Simulator is a piece of software that seems to accomplish what it set out to do. It doesn't do it with much panache, graphical or otherwise, but it gets it done. You drive trains, and build worlds to drive them in. It's too bad they couldn't have included more detailed information on how exactly that is accomplished, but the player community seems pretty good about helping out anyone who wants to learn. Rail Simulator will probably please hardcore rail fans, but it'll bore the socks right off anyone else.

Need for Speed ProStreet does very little right on the PSP. If you're in dire need of a racing game, it'll do the job, but there are many more racing titles on the system that are much, much better.

Plombé par une maniabilité très délicate, ainsi que par des nouveautés qui ne méritent pas vraiment ce nom, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity parvient à être encore moins séduisant que son prédécesseur. Seuls les fans du petit hérisson bleu ainsi que quelques joueurs masochistes auront peut-être plaisir à parcourir ces circuits, les autres passeront leur chemin sans un regard en arrière.

S’inscrivant dans la lignée des beat’em all old school, Street Gangs n’en est pas moins un jeu original de par son côté action-RPG et son ambiance loufoque assumée. Doté d’une jouabilité mijotée aux petits oignons, la prise en main est immédiate même si certains combats demanderont quelques essais avant de trouver la meilleure stratégie. En effet, pour survivre dans les rues de River City, il ne suffira pas de foncer dans le tas car vos ennemis n’hésiteront pas à user de tous les coups bas pour vous freiner dans votre progression. Jouable en solo ou à deux, arpenter les différentes rues offre un bon défouloir et constitue une expérience marquante. A tester, sans hésitation !
