Thirty-nine games for $20 is nothing to scoff at, and most of these titles are a lot of fun to play. However, in a market thriving with compilations, Legends 2 is just outclassed by its predecessor and other titles that have shown us how much could be packed into these collections.

It's little touches like that, along with the game's tight, precise control and incredibly intimidating challenge factor that make this Adventure a hit. Zelda II is just a great game, and playing it again today makes it hard to understand why it's been so chastised for the past 20 years. Nintendo clearly recognizes its worth, selecting it as the standard-bearer to be the 100th game on the Virtual Console. Now you should give it a chance, too. For only 500 Wii Points, it's a spectacular, underappreciated value. Nobody likes Zelda II – but that's not true. And maybe, now, that perspective will change.

So Dead Moon is not without its own smattering of individual merits. But its placement, in such close chronological proximity with other, far superior shooting games on other 16-bit systems, dooms it from Day 1. Don't bother with Dead Moon -- it's been said before, and, unfortunately, was said again. There are far better options for finding your shoot-'em-up fix.

Evitando giri di parole, Picross DS è la migliore versione di questo rompicapo finora proposta su console ed un gioco che nessuno dovrebbe lasciarsi sfuggire, se non chi proprio non riesce ad amare titoli enigmistici e riflessivi. Partendo dal presupposto che il picross in sè sia un puzzle che provoca assuefazione in ogni sua forma, questa versione per DS offre la comodità di giocare col pennino, oltre 300 schemi con vari livelli di difficoltà, supporto della Wi-Fi Connection per sfidare amici e sconosciuti in gare di velocità e per scambiare picross nuovi di zecca realizzati con l'ottimo editor. L'unica pecca è la mancanza di un sistema di account che permetta a più persone di utilizzare la stessa cartuccia indipendentemente, ma non è questo un difetto che possa far desistere dall'acquisto. E poi è a prezzo budget, che aspettate a comprarlo?

En dépit de gros soucis de gameplay, et malgré un déroulement peu novateur, Dead Reefs se démarque des autres jeux d'aventure PC par son scénario alambiqué et son atmosphère bien ancrée dans les peurs morbides. Pour autant, le soft ne s'aventure jamais vraiment dans l'horreur, ce qui le rend accessible à tous les publics.

Si on savait déjà plus ou moins à quoi s'attendre avec Tomb Raider : Anniversary, l'entrain des développeurs dans la réalisation et leur amour de la série sont une fois encore communicatifs. Ainsi, sans pour autant renier le jeu original, qui restera à jamais une pierre angulaire de notre espace vidéoludique, il serait dommage de bouder ce remake sous des faux prétextes de nostalgique entêté. Le temps où on s'adaptait à Tomb Raider est révolu. Désormais, ce sera Tomb Raider qui s'adaptera au joueur, pour le meilleur... Rien que pour le meilleur.
