Per chiudere il discorso non si può che dare atto a Clover di aver prodotto quello che può essere definito il miglior action/adventure per Ps2, probabilmente il migliore in assoluto in questo momento. Un gioco completo, innovativo, originale capace di distinguersi in ogni suo aspetto sia tecnico che stilistico. Okami pare offrirsi come punto di riferimento sia per questa generazione, che per quella futura. Con la sua longevità immensa (siamo ben oltre le 60 ore di gioco), la sua teccnica eccelsa, il suo stile peculiare ed il suo gameplay innovativo; Okami rappresenta indubbiamente uno dei titoli migliori nella storia dei videogiochi.

MVP 07 is just a bit outside of being an impressive title. The Rock and Fire system is an excellent way of addressing pitching in a baseball game, but unfortunately the multiplayer complication keeps it from becoming an exceptional feature for this year. As for some of the other changes to the gameplay, MVP 07 is one of those games that PS2 owners will definitely like, but the age of the engine and limited improvements on the overall product will hopefully push this game over to the next gen systems where it will really shine.

The new and improved Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is good enough to save Capcom Puzzle Collection from falling too far down the numeric "buy it" scale because it's still laced with digital nicotine. But as I stated numerous times before, it's hard to justify buying an aged game at a higher price when there's only one title in the compilation worth playing. Plus, none of the other four entries warrant more than a few minutes of tryout time and some weird interface issues make it difficult to enjoy ad hoc in a seamless way. This one's for Super Puzzle Fighter freaks only.

Splinter Cell Double Agent nella versione per Wii non è nulla di eccezionale: non in linea con lo standard next gen sotto nessun punto di vista e non certo modellato appositamente per i controlli di questa console (la gestione degli impulsi è ancora primitiva e imprecisa). Insomma, Double Agent ha pochi elementi che invoglino all’acquisto. Nettamente inferiore rispetto alla versione X360, afflitto da problemi grafici frutto di uno sviluppo grossolano, e scarsamente innovativo: un gioco adatto soltanto ai fan più accaniti della serie che non hanno la possibilità di giocarlo nè su PC (i requisiti minimi sono esagerati) nè su X360.

The world of Okami is so lush, visually stunning and complete within itself that you just want to lose yourself in it. One of the last great games for the PlayStation 2.
