Schade! Fast hätte es ein Happy End mit Award gegeben. Denn mit Rayman 3 demonstrieren die Weltenschöpfer von Ubi Soft ihre Klasse: Das Licht- und Farbenspiel in Wäldern, Sümpfen und Korridoren zaubert eine einmalige Atmosphäre, die immer wieder zum Entdecken einlädt. Zusammen mit den witzigen Dialogen, der hervorragenden Lokalisierung und dem liebevollen Figurendesign entwickeln sich Raymans Abenteuer fast zum spielbaren Comic-Märchen. Auch die abwechslungsreichen Levels, die neuen Superkräfte und die fordernden Boss-Kämpfe machen Rayman 3 zu einem Top-Jump`n Run. Aber vor allem ein technischer Spielverderber holt mich in die Realität zurück: die Kamera. Manchmal zu langsam, manchmal unglücklich und teilweise sogar so katastrophal positioniert, dass ich Rayman nicht mehr sehen kann, sorgt die vermurkste Perspektive hier und da für Frust – Ratchet&Clank oder Sly Raccoon spielten sich wesentlich flüssiger. Auch die Zwischenrennen auf Neonröhren oder im Schnee können nicht begeistern und mutieren auf Dauer zum nervigen Pflichtprogramm. So scheitert der sympathische Held zuletzt auch deshalb an unserer Award-Hürde, weil es auf der PS2 einfach zu viel hochkarätige Konkurrenz gibt, die in einigen Bereichen einfach besser ist. Trotzdem hinterlässt Rayman Jump`n Run-Spaß auf höchstem Niveau, den sich kein Genre-Fan entgehen lassen sollte!

Namco réussit le pari de dépoussiérer le mythe de Pac-Man en sortant un titre de plates-formes à la progression originale et variée, et surtout très prenante. Les phases de jeu sont intelligentes et passionneront les plus jeunes qui prendront plaisir à recommencer les niveaux pour découvrir tous les bonus cachés.

Post Mortem is another game in a series of games that had potential but falls short for one reason or another. It is one of the best I've played in the last year, though. The genre benefits from this title. Pretty decent graphics and sound only serve to make the intriguing tale of murder and deception believable. The dialogues are interesting and add a lot of the game. You can explore and play the game however you like and there are many ways to pursue the investigation. While its lacking on puzzles and this will leave you with a feeling of dissatisfaction, it is nonetheless a worthwhile adventure game that will hold us over while we wait for THE adventure game. If we wait for it, it will come, right? Right??

Un titre éblouissant de réalisme, mais qui divisera les joueurs par son gameplay difficile d'accès et son manque de pêche. L'incroyable souci du détail et l'efficacité de la réalisation ne suffisent pas vraiment à compenser les autres faiblesses du jeu, même si ce titre parvient à trouver une approche assez inédite dans le milieu des jeux de courses sur Xbox.
