Digimon Survive manages to do a great job creating a unique Digimon game experience. Survive is able to deliver a mature Digimon story filled with lighthearted moments of group bonding, and tense moments that are some of the darkest Digimon has to offer. The Visual Novel gameplay helps nail the development of these relationships creating a story that players can invest in and that is sprinkled with past Digimon references. In combat, Digimon Survive does try to add its own Digimon spin to strategy combat, in some ways it does work but it will also leave you wanting for more in other areas. For a fan of Digimon storytelling or for Visual Novel games I think this is well worth picking up, if you're interested in Digimon Survive as an SRPG then you'll likely find the dialogue getting in the way of what you actually want to experience in a Digimon game.

Digimon Survive isn’t quite the game anyone was expecting based on the marketing. As expected, the story is engrossing, blending darker moments with the character drama that made for excellent viewing in some of Digimon’s best seasons. The visual novel aspect of the game is rather good by allowing players to form intimate connections with the other characters and partner Digimon. When the story works, it works amazingly well. When pacing issues do arise, however, they bring all that momentum to a halt. Combat is interesting and can be visually exciting, but it lacks the depth and complexity needed to carry the lengthy run time. It also frequently butts heads with the story when it comes to the partner Digimon, with the story emphasizing the bond but combat emphasizing recruits. It’s a combat system that ultimately feels tacked on and a side activity to the main course, the visual novel. Digimon Survive is a strange combination of genres that, taken as a whole, is enjoyable, even though the sum of its parts doesn’t wholly mesh. Digimon Survive is a worthwhile adventure for those looking for a strong story, but expect things to move slowly and not much actual gameplay.

Non c'è nulla che possa invogliare e stimolare il giocatore ad affrontare la ventina di ore necessarie per completare la corposa avventura di Lost Epic. La componente che funziona meglio, la formula action, è anche la più esile, e non basta certo a reggere il peso dell'intera esperienza. Gli altri ambiti del gameplay purtroppo non fanno che appesantirla ulteriormente, complici meccaniche non ben implementate e inutili orpelli. Questi insomma sono i motivi per cui questo action rpg in 2D è rimasto intrappolato nel limbo della mediocrità.

Giudicare New Super Mario Bros 2 non è piacevole. Non c'è genio, non ci sono intuizioni, non c'è originalità alcuna. Tutti i meriti sono ereditati dal passato, e risiedono nel maestoso artigianato Nintendo. Ancora meno piacevole è pensare che la saga che ha dominato e definito il mondo dei videogiochi per un decennio sia giunta a questo punto. Iwata dovrebbe rimettere presto un team di primo piano al lavoro sui Mario bidimensionali, o potrebbe essere troppo tardi.

Juego de notable acabado que disfrutaremos y recordaremos. Una buena compra, muy recomendable para amantes del género. Está bien cuidado a todos los niveles.

MultiVersus is an entertaining and deep platform fighter, but everything outside of simply jumping into a 1v1 or 2v2 match as any one of the eclectic characters in its cast (who are only related by a common corporate overlord) is tedious. I’ll keep coming back to experiment with my Iron Giant’s perk build for team play or learn how to use Marvin The Martian to his fullest, but I’d be glued to this game if I was given more opportunities to earn memorable variant skins or challenge my skills in increasingly tough PvE battles. Instead, MultiVersus offers days of grinding to earn the opportunity to grind more to attain its most enticing rewards, whether that’s the chance to play as an upcoming character or to swag out your favorite fighter. While it’s a huge boon that the actual fighting is solid and worth the time to dig into, it’s going to take more fun objectives to complete and more fruitful rewards to make me want to return over and over again.

Fidèle à lui-même, Pro Cycling Manager 2022 présente globalement les mêmes qualités et les mêmes défauts que les opus précédents. Des courses un poil plus réalistes et une nouvelle gestion des jeunes coureurs peinent tout de même à faire oublier l'aspect graphique désuet, et le manque de nouveauté. Pas de révolution donc, mais une recette qui fonctionne toujours, notamment pour les fans de la petite reine, et même les nouveaux venus. Ceux qui ont déjà saigné l'épisode 2021 peuvent toutefois légitimement se poser la question de repasser à la caisse, les innovations étant franchement anecdotiques.
