RoboCop: Rogue City – Unfinished Business doesn’t reinvent the Rogue City formula, but it does build off of its most fun elements. By shrinking the scope to one building, the experience zeroes in on character and environmental beats that just wouldn’t have worked before. Still, many of the glitches and gameplay limitations remain, and even though they work well within the Robocop series, optimization would go a long way toward enhancing the experience. If you were wondering if you should play Unfinished Business, well, that’s easy, because hell ya, you should.

At a glance, Shadow Labyrinth may just seem like a startingly different take on Pac-Man for shock value, but it still follows the core tenets of the original game: mazes, creature consumption, player choice in navigation, and a power-up in the form of GAIA that effectively swaps the roles of prey and predator. PATAPON 1+2 Replay is a low-key return for one of Sony’s most creative franchises. It doesn’t reinvent the series, and outside of some light quality-of-life upgrades, it sticks closely to the original blueprint. But that blueprint still works. The rhythm-strategy blend is as fun and unique as ever, especially in the more expansive PATAPON 2. This is a comfort food kind of collection, simple, satisfying, and always ready to give you a little push to try again after every failed beat. For rhythm fans, strategy players, or just those craving something a little different, PATAPON 1+2 Replay is worth marching into.

BUSTAFELLOWS season2 is a sequel to a great otome game that manages to be a worthy follow-up when it comes to showing interesting sides to the characters, but is a hard recommendation for anyone who hasn't yet dived into the original and doesn't fix a significant issue its predecessor also had in the lack of subtitles of voice-only dialogues.

Elden Ring: Nightreign drove me a little crazy, and I listed many negatives, but if you have the skill and the nerve to challenge it, Nightreign is great. Defeating each Nightlord left me shouting with relief. Its visuals, mechanics, and loop stand out in today’s gaming landscape. Yes, the difficulty alienates casual players, but for die-hard Souls fans seeking teamwork-heavy challenges, Nightreign will remain memorable. As frustrating and ruthless as it is, it successfully blends multiple genres into competitive problem-solving. Still, I hesitate to recommend it widely. Even as an Elden Ring devotee, I often wanted the review to end so I could stop losing. Without friends online and with losses piling up, burnout crept in. Any time away dulls muscle memory and reduces your odds against these punishing bosses. Good luck, Nightfarer. You’ll need it.
