Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for DS is a fun, straightforward action game with a unique and enjoyable control scheme. It also looks pretty good, even if there are some slowdown and camera problems along the way. So if you're a Star Wars nut who doesn't own any of the home consoles, you might want to check out the portable version. You will certainly get all the basics and you may just like the surprisingly fun control configuration. But if you have access to the PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii versions of the game, I don't think you will find the DS iteration complementary, for it adds little and loses much in regard to presentation and depth. I think n-Space is onto something with the title, but I would like to see even more polish to the engine and camera system and a touch-interface that fully supported play sans stylus in any possible sequels.
Transposé sur DS dans une version toujours orientée beat'em all, Star Wars : le Pouvoir de la Force a le mérite d'offrir une expérience de jeu qui tient la route mais qui n'atteint pas son quota en terme d'intensité. Le déséquilibre entre la puissance croissante de l'apprenti et la trop grande facilité des niveaux d'action condamne l'intérêt du jeu ainsi que sa durée de vie, malgré la présence de modes multijoueurs bienvenus.
