Intellivision Lives is strictly for the fans, but even then, there have been so many previous Intellivision packages that the value of this collection is brought into question. It is a budget release, which helps smooth over some rough edges like missing games (due to licensing) and the obtuse menus. But even then, I can’t get too enthusiastic about it because even though I am a big fan of this era of gaming, there is a key reason that Atari 2600 overshadowed the Intellivision: it simply had more good games.
