Eternal Threads comes together as a solid, engaging narrative that keeps things simple, with a cleverly implemented time manipulation mechanic that easily allows you to jump back and forth through every possible outcome. And you’ll want to explore those outcomes, because there’s plenty of interesting threads that could otherwise go unnoticed. It might not do anything altogether ground-breaking, but as an overall package it’s hard not to recommend this thoroughly enjoyable tale.

Eternal Threads ci ha davvero convinti, grazia alla libertà che lascia al giocatore di svolgere l'indagine liberamente. Alla fine la manipolazione temporale è solo la scusa per proporre un ottimo puzzle game investigativo, che coinvolge grazie a una scrittura di buona fattura e alle molte possibilità che offre in termini di risoluzione del caso. Certo, fa specie vedere idee simili spuntare solo in ambito indie, perché dimostrano che i videogiochi hanno molto da dire al di là dei generi tradizionali e possono ancora offrire concept di gioco intriganti e originali, senza per questo risultare ammorbanti.
