While it could stand to be longer, if only to deliver more when it come to some of its more ambitious elements, Trek to Yomi is an amazing action game that makes terrific use of its cinematic presentation, using Kurosawa vibes to impact both the gameplay and visuals in clever ways. Intense swordfights are backed up by amazing visual flourishes, while a stark black and white world finds clever ways to highlight its more interesting aspects and pathways. It's a great cinematic homage worth getting popcorn to much on in between battles worthy of it.

Warhammer 40.000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters è sicuramente un titolo consigliato a tutti quelli che apprezzano la formula rinverdita dal reboot della serie XCOM di Firaxis, nonostante presenti una struttura della campagna più rigida. Per il resto è stato fatto un ottimo lavoro nell'adattare le meccaniche di gioco all'universo di Warhammer 40.000 e nel dare maggiore enfasi a certi momenti, così da creare un'esperienza più coinvolgente, soprattutto per quelli che conoscono bene e apprezzano l'universo di Games Workshop. Non ci troviamo di fronte a un capolavoro, ma a un ottimo strategico a turni di un sottogenere che non vede poi così tante uscite.
