Postal 4 non delude le aspettative: chi cerca violenza gratuita, volgarità e satira di cattivo gusto troverà pane per i propri denti. Risultati che sono ottenuti utilizzando la base vincente del secondo episodio, strutturato in cinque livelli per altrettanti giorni della settimana: un po' di originalità in più non avrebbe guastato. Purtroppo, i problemi tecnici sono troppo marchiani per passare in secondo piano: scarsa ottimizzazione, grafica al limite dell'indecente e numerosi bug lo fanno apparire ancora come un titolo in fase embrionale, nonostante i tre anni di sviluppo. O forse era proprio questa l'intenzione dei programmatori? Il voto in calce va letto a seconda della risposta a questa domanda: chi scrive pensa di no e ha adottato uno spirito critico, ma per i seguaci di Running with Scissors il valore può essere tranquillamente raddoppiato.

Postal 4: No Regerts clearly wants to be a hilariously edgy so-bad-it’s-good follow up to its infamous predecessors, but it misses that mark in every way. The comedy is lazy and embarrassing, the combat is messy and painfully unsatisfying, and it runs so poorly on high-end hardware that it can scarcely be enjoyed at all even by those just hoping for some campy shock humor. The open world of Edensin also completely disappoints as a destructive playground due to its empty, bland areas that can’t even make some self-driven destruction any fun. Put all of that atop a terrifying pyramid of bugs, glitches, and frequent full-on crashes and you’ve got one of the most thoroughly unenjoyable mistakes ever created. You shouldn’t play this game, and I wish I hadn’t.
