Blue Prince is the kind of puzzle game that dug deep into my brain and didn’t let go. Its complex mysteries weave brilliantly into the careful decision making of how to lay out the mansion’s rooms on each randomized run, leaving me building floorplans in my sleep almost every night after I played it. The story that slowly emerges within this fascinating place is also a compelling one, and it had me hungrily hunting for clues and combinations for many hours after I reached the credits while also poetically tying into the mechanics that lead you to them. Hitting a dead end you did everything in your power to avoid can frustrate from time to time, but this sprawling estate has so much to uncover that the randomness never stalled my progress for too long. If The Witness, Portal, and Myst are already emblazoned on the Mount Rushmore of first-person puzzle games, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Blue Prince carved alongside them soon enough.

S’appuyant sur le moteur Unreal Engine 5, Monster Energy Supercross 25 est l’épisode le plus abouti de la franchise visuellement parlant. Reprenant le contenu du dernier, mais magnifié par une technique nettement plus aboutie, il est certainement le meilleur moyen de jouer à cette discipline encore assez méconnue en France. Toutefois, il faudra s’accrocher pour maîtriser un gameplay qui demandera des heures de pratique avant d’être totalement acquis, au vu des nombreuses acrobaties à réaliser pour réduire votre temps dans les airs. Comme d’habitude avec Milestone, les éditeurs sont nombreux et ultra complets avec un partage possible aux autres joueurs. Si vous appréciez les jeux du genre, Monster Energy Supercross 25 est une bonne proposition uniquement disponible sur PS5, Xbox Series X|S et PC.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 si afferma come un titolo che punta alla perfezione dell’esperienza di guida. Il gameplay, elemento centrale, offre una maneggevolezza impeccabile e un controllo esaltante sulla moto. Il Supercross Park, un’aggiunta strategica, funge da ambiente di apprendimento e di svago, mentre la modalità Carriera rinnovata colma le lacune precedenti, offrendo una progressione del pilota più coinvolgente. Pur non stravolgendo la formula della serie, il titolo si concentra sull’affinamento degli elementi chiave, garantendo un’esperienza di guida autentica e appagante, in particolare per gli appassionati del Supercross. In sintesi, Monster Energy Supercross 25 si distingue per un gameplay solido, un Supercross Park versatile e una modalità Carriera migliorata, che faranno la gioia degli appassionati della serie firmata Milestone.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 è un titolo ricco di contenuti e capace di offrire gare avvincenti, grazie a una fisica rinnovata e a un’attenzione particolare per i salti e l’evoluzione del terreno. La curva di apprendimento iniziale può apparire tosta, ma ripaga ampiamente chi si impegna a migliorare. L’aggiunta del crossplay, la modalità Splitscreen e il Track Editor ampliano l’esperienza, rendendola divertente e longeva. Le funzioni “social” e qualche dettaglio minore potrebbero non entusiasmare tutti, ma l’essenza del Supercross è resa in modo eccellente. Il gioco merita l’attenzione di chiunque ami le sfide motoristiche e cerchi un mix di realismo e spettacolo.

MLB The Show 25 est supérieur à ce que proposait l’édition précédente. Les développeurs n’ont pas eu peur de prendre des risques en proposant une refonte complète du mode Diamond Dynasty. Celui-ci est désormais bien plus intéressant, surtout en solo. D’un autre côté, le mode Road to the Show est un peu plus immersif notamment avec l’intégration du parcours scolaire. J’aurai souhaité une plus grande profondeur à ce niveau afin de ne pas avoir l’impression qu’il s’agit d’un ajout secondaire. La jouabilité a aussi été revue et demandera un certain temps d’adaptation pour comprendre les frappes qui peuvent souvent avoir des comportements aléatoires. Un élément qui a peu d’impact en solo, mais qui clairement peut déranger les joueurs qui aiment s’affronter en ligne. Dans l’ensemble, le jeu demeure une référence dans le milieu et l’équipe de San Diego doit continuer dans cette direction.

South of Midnight se révèle être un merveilleux spectacle auditif porté par une direction artistique exceptionnelle. L'univers envoûtant du Sud gothique, sublimé par une esthétique stop motion et une bande originale magistrale, nous immerge dans un récit fantastique et touchant. Mais la proposition se heurte à une boucle de gameplay cruellement générique qui met à mal une aventure mémorable pour sa proposition artistique, et qui mérite d'être découverte malgré ses quelques écueils.

All in all, Croc The Legend of the Gobbos Remastered does what it says on the tin – remaster a 1997 video game with an upspuff in visuals and improved controls. Keeping the rest of the game as was is great in theory, but too many 90’s sensibilities remain in terms of wonky level design and difficulty spikes. It’s certainly more enjoyable thanks to the improvements made, and I’m all for reviving old games for a new lease on life, but this game is far from the best of the era and it certainly can’t challenge the modern greats that have come since.
