.Hack//G.U. Last Recode arriva anche su Nintendo Switch e lo fa con un porting che cambia nulla rispetto a quello di quasi cinque anni fa, ma che altrettanto non sacrifica niente dell'esperienza. Se siete disposti a spendere qualche euro in più per la comodità della portabilità e ancora non avete fatto un salto nella seconda versione di The World, potrebbe essere la volta buona per spendere una settantina di ore di ottimo divertimento vecchio stampo.

Avec des combats solides et un univers aussi plaisant pour les yeux qu'intéressant à découvrir, les français de 1P2P visent juste avec Young Souls et nous offrent avec un beat'em up RPG de très bonne facture. Son gros point fort, ce sont d'abord ses phases d'action, qui reposent sur un duo de héros à personnaliser entièrement. Alors oui, on aurait apprécié un petit peu plus de matière de ce côté-là, pour éviter de tomber dans le cas d'école du tandem lourd / léger. Mais ce n'est clairement qu'un détail. Peu importe la situation, les affrontements de Young Souls sont dynamiques, tactiques, surtout dans les modes de difficulté avancés. Le joueur a d'ailleurs la possibilité de régler le challenge à sa convenance et à tout moment. Un autre très bon point qui permet d'apprécier en toutes circonstances l'univers de Young Souls, qui a fait l'objet d'un soin tout particulier malgré une écriture au final assez perfectible. Un premier projet qui annonce la couleur pour les futurs titres du 1P2P. Du très bon, inclus au Game Pass.

For better or worse, mostly better, the re-release of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is just that: a re-release. This isn’t a superior version that has seen huge amounts of love and care. Instead, it’s a competently-ported game with a resolution upgrade and the latest balancing. Fans who missed out on the game before but love the characters in Persona 3 and 4 should snag this one. Returning players who have had their fill of Ultimax, however, will have a harder time justifying a purchase. This is not the fault of the publisher or developer, though, as this is sold and marketed as just the game, not an attempt to double-dip. Because of this, treating the game on its own merits, the re-release of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax comes highly recommended. It has fun characters embarking on a fresh adventure in a new genre. The story can be padded, but it still scratches that itch. The most fantastic part is that this old game has systems and gameplay that still holds up favorably to modern fighting releases. There are few fighters that can boast that.

L'Alba del Ragnarok porta avanti in maniera inedita il supporto post-lancio di Assassin's Creed Valhalla, con un'espansione apparentemente ricca ma che è possibile completare abbastanza in fretta concentrandosi sulle missioni principali. Il problema è però un altro, e riguarda il bilanciamento della difficoltà: affrontando il pacchetto come un contenuto endgame sarete troppo potenti e avrete a disposizione troppe abilità risolutrici per concedere il giusto spazio ai nuovi poteri, che in effetti sono molto interessanti e possono offrire approcci diversi in termini di esplorazione e combattimento. Con le dovute accortezze, L'Alba del Ragnarok può senz'altro regalarvi delle belle emozioni e non si risparmia sul fronte delle novità, dei personaggi e dei nemici; spiace dunque che quest'ultima saga di Odino non sia arrivata al debutto con le idee perfettamente chiare.

Se le pueden criticar muchas cosas a Aztech: Forgotten Gods, pero cualquier juego que nos permita enfrentarnos a titanes a puñetazo limpio mientras suena heavy metal se convierte automáticamente en un buen juego.

Dai creatori di Mulaka ci saremmo aspettati sinceramente di più, e tuttavia quello a cui lo studio messicano approda con Aztech Forgotten Gods è un mancato degno successore spirituale: un sequel che avrebbe potuto trascinare a velocità ipersoniche tutto il fascino del retrofuturismo di matrice azteca, ma che si limita a riproporre un tipo di game design decisamente superato. Sebbene sia buona l’intenzione di costruire un sistema di movimento così peculiare, ogni possibile forma di entusiasmo ludico viene smorzata sul nascere da molteplici increspature di carattere tecnico, nonché da una progressione priva di mordente.
