Ich war mir nicht ganz sicher, ob ich mich an The Pedestrian trauen sollte: Ich liebe 2D-Jump’n’Runs, habe aber Respekt vor kniffligen Rätseln. Und ich wusste, dass dieser Titel mehr in Richtung Denkspiel geht. Weil es so hinreißend inszeniert ist, gab ich mir aber einen Ruck – und habe es nicht bereut. Das Spielkonzept mit dem Anordnen der einzelnen Schilder, dem Schaffen von Wegen zwischen diesen Tafeln und dem Zurücksetzen, wenn man etwas verändert – all das ist durchdacht und macht dabei viel Laune. Klar muss man ordentlich nachdenken, kommt aber mit guter Planung angenehm flott voran. Und für meine Super-Mario-Seele ist zwischendurch auch immer wieder etwas lockeres Hopsen im Programm. Die Farbmechanik in der zweiten Spielhälfte finde ich leider nicht besonders benutzerfreundlich, da werden dann doch Qualitätsunterschiede zu einem Knobel-Meilenstein à la Portal 2 deutlich. Trotzdem: Auch weil sich The Pedestrian ein überraschend cooles Finale erlaubt, sollte jeder Denkspiel-Freund einen Blick riskieren – meine grauen Zellen wurden schon eine Weile nicht mehr so gut unterhalten.

S'étant fait remarqué par son esthétique et son ambiance originales, The Pedestrian offre bien plus que ce que l'on imagine au premier abord. Cette aventure d'un petit bonhomme de panneau de signalisation se révèle un jeu de réflexion incroyablement malin et accrocheur. Jamais à court d'idées, le premier projet très original de Skookum Arts parvient à tirer son épingle du jeu en mêlant simplicité d'accès, renouvellement constant, et courbe de difficulté idéale, pour un résultat magnifique et qui sait flatter notre sens logique sans jamais nous lasser.

Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo is an interesting narrative-driven adventure game, or more like an interactive story, which incorporates several themes from Hitchcock's work. While not linked to the film of the same name, Vertigo is similar in many ways and - like Vertigo - features a compelling and well-told story with (mostly) interesting and well-developed characters. However, this story is countered by distracting facial animation, issues with balancing the generally good audio, and other technical problems. Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo isn't a bad interactive story, I'd even recommend the story, it misses the mark on too much for me to not offer some caution.

On s'engage : si vous acceptez le style graphique "rétro" qui peut forcément diviser, Dusk est probablement le meilleur FPS de la Nintendo Switch. Ce portage est en effet d'excellente facture, avec un framerate constant à 60 FPS et une très grande souplesse côté prise en main. La combinaison d'une visée plus permissive et de l'utilisation du gyroscope offre en effet d'excellentes sensations. Si vous ne connaissez pas l'original et que les FPS au pad ne vous font pas peur, foncez. Pour celles et ceux qui ont déjà passé quelques dizaines d'heures sur le jeu d'origine, l'achat peut valoir le coup si vous voulez profiter d'une version "à emporter".

Toujours ingénieux, drôle et captivant, The Stanley Parable : Ultra Deluxe vaut définitivement le coup de s'attarder une nouvelle fois dans l'expérience culte de 2013. Si les nouveaux joueurs auront bien du mal à considérer l'œuvre comme étant vraiment unique aujourd'hui, elle s'étoffe tout de même d'un level-design encore habile et surprenant. Et quel plaisir de retrouver l'humour implacable du narrateur.
