Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have their flaws and are not particularly ambitious remakes, but they're somehow still fun. I don't regret the 25 hours I spent with the main story, and there is enough post-game content to keep me interested for a while longer. I just can't help but wish that these gems shined a little bit more brilliantly.

Overall, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are perfectly decent Pokémon games, but feel like a significant step back when compared to newer titles and the quality of previous Pokémon remakes. It relies too heavily on the Pokémon formula always providing a decent game, but doesn’t bring much else to the table. The features removed from the originals, as well as ILCA completely ignoring the revisions that Pokémon Platinum already made thirteen years ago heavily impacted the overall enjoyment of the games. With more time in the oven, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl could’ve been exceptional titles, but the end product felt undercooked and games that will be inevitably pushed to the side when the next game releases.

Farming Simulator 22 is een zeer uitgebreide landbouwsimulator die nog meer voertuigen en gameplayelementen toevoegt aan een al zeer compleet pakket. De nieuwe seizoenen zijn niet alleen mooi om te aanschouwen, de weersomstandigheden hebben ook impact op je gewassen. Wie de landbouw een kans wil geven, zal zijn geduld beproeven. Dagelijkse taken nemen veel tijd in beslag en de tutorial is niet gebruiksvriendelijk. Met genoeg boerenverstand zal het echter wel lukken. Als men er in slaagt om de tutorial bij te werken mits patches, dan is dit zonder twijfel de meest complete landbouwsimulator ooit.

En mettant un peu plus l'aspect ludique en retrait pour se concentrer sur son scénario, Life is Strange : True Colors recentre sa ligne éditoriale sur ce qui plaît le plus aux fans de la première heure. Des personnages forts et un Haven Springs ô combien accueillant, la flamme Life is Strange est bien présente... malgré quelques rendez-vous manqués et une charpente un peu trop proche du premier opus, qui ne parviennent pas à fragiliser ce dernier épisode en date.

Un lancio tiepido ma non completamente da dimenticare. Quello di Battlefield 2042 è un avvio che avrebbe potuto offrire molto di più alla sua utenza, sebbene il gameplay sia immancabilmente solido. L'esperienza della guerra su larga scala si espande sulle nuove console fino a 128 giocatori, rendendo ancor più avvincente e caotica ogni partita giocata. Tuttavia i problemi di connettività, di bilanciamento e diversi bug e glitch,, non permettono al titolo di dare il meglio di sé. Non ci resta dunque che attendere le future patch correttive - su cui il team di sviluppo è attualmente a lavoro - e scoprire come si migliorerà ed espanderà in futuro Battlefield 2042.

Avec Astérix & Obélix : Baffez les tous, Microids ouvre un tout nouveau livre. Habitué aux adaptations de l'univers de Goscinny et Uderzo, l'éditeur a changé son cheval de bataille pour revenir aux sources. Et ça marche ! Avec son style rétro (que ce soit au niveau de la forme comme du fond), ce nouveau jeu parvient à rendre l'hommage que cette oeuvre mérite. Le principe colle parfaitement à l’univers et l'expérience est équilibrée sur tous les points. De là à dire qu'Astérix & Obélix : Baffez les tous est la meilleure adaptation, il n'y a qu'un pas que certains ne manqueront pas de franchir. Une chose est sûre, ce beat'em up est le fruit du travail de véritables passionnés et cela se ressent en jeu.
