Disciples: Liberation harkens back to old school, D&D type of games where the consequence of each encounter or conversation molds the world in your favor. Though it may lack compelling 3-D cinematics, it makes up for it by providing quality voice acting and writing. All in all, freedom dictates much of the choices you make.

All in all Gloomhaven is still the game people either know and love, or the game that will welcome those looking for a dungeon crawler with open arms. Why then choose the digital version? Well there are many reasons to choose the digital version but I suppose some of the main reasons include ease of access and ease of use, and lest we forget an intuitively easy to use interface Gloomhaven the digital version is welcoming and makes getting together with friends or playing it alone easier. These reasons alone are the biggest reason to dip your toes into the Gloomhaven pool and go for a swim. Gloomhaven’s staying power is unprecedented and the digital version further cements that and ultimately paves the way for future games.

Echo Generation is a cute, charming game that immediately sinks its teeth into you. The ‘90’s setting, humorous dialogue, excellent combat, and likable characters are all reasons to dive in. The lack of fast travel does bring the experience down a tad. Also, if you’re frustrated by point-and-click style puzzles, you might feel like banging your head against the wall at several points.

Resident Evil 4 VR è una scommessa vinta quasi del tutto. Trasporre il celebre titolo horror in realtà virtuale poteva sembrare un azzardo, dati i molti adeguamenti da fare per adattarsi alla periferica, ma Capcom e Armature Studios sono riusciti a calare il giocatore dentro i panni di Leon Kennedy in un modo molto credibile. Il titolo fa un ottimo uso di tutte le potenzialità dell'Oculus Quest e mette inoltre a disposizione svariate opzioni per adeguare l'esperienza ad un'ampia fetta di giocatori, sia quelli alla ricerca di un viaggio più confortevole, sia quelli che cercano azione e adrenalina. I due sistemi sistemi di movimento hanno entrambi i loro punti deboli, ma con un po' di allenamento siamo riusciti a tener testa alle orde di Ganados e a goderci a pieno tutta la fisicità di questa nuova edizione, esaltata dalla gestione dell'inventario e da un rifacimento di molte delle meccaniche di gioco.

Into The Pit has some genuine fun in it. It controls well, has a unique look, and has great potential with its rogue-lite offerings. In the end though for me, the lack of variety in multiple areas kept it from being something I could recommend except for the fact that it’s only $15 and is also on Game Pass. For free (if you’re already an existing member) it’s a no-brainer to give this one a try if anything you’ve seen about it has caught your eye. After all, the only cost will be a little bit of your time.

Old school FPS fans will be right at home here, brought in by the fast movement, impactful weaponry and the constant back-peddling and side-strafing attack methods emblematic of classic shooters. Even though I’m not generally a fan of Roguelikes by the very nature of the repetitive loop, I found myself getting very caught up in the grind here. Each run felt new and exciting, and when I was dropped a power or weapon that I liked it really got me hyped to get into the next room to use it. I think I finally get why the genre has been so popular, and I can see myself playing this for quite some time yet.
