My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge reinventa l'interessante formula a base di piattaforme e bullet time creata da Deadtoast Entertainment, adattandola ai dispositivi mobile grazie a un sistema di controllo inedito che da un lato riesce a regalare bei momenti e qualche piacevole risvolto strategico, dall'altro si incastra nella propria macchinosità durante le situazioni più banali, magari quando bisogna percorrere i pochi centimetri che ci separano dall'uscita dello stage. Esattamente come l'originale My Friend Pedro, insomma, ci troviamo di fronte a un prodotto capace di alternare momenti epici e qualche delusione.

Haven Park est une belle expérience malgré sa simplicité déconcertante. Ne vous attendez pas à plus de 3 heures de jeu pour finir le titre à 100% avec ses quêtes annexes, ce qui reste correct compte tenu du travail effectué. Vous voyagerez assurément durant votre périple et l’ambiance apaisante du jeu vous fera prendre une bonne bouffée d’air frais en cet été pas très ensoleillé.

Some good warhammer 40k vibes can be found here but there’s just a bit too much going on in Necromunda: Hired Gun. The fast-paced FPS gameplay needs refining and is constantly slowed down by the RPG elements which in turn are not allowed to shine through the FPS aspect. I actually think this setting would lend itself more to a Skyrim style RPG more so than a first person shooter but this is what we got and I am actually a bit gutted that I can’t like it more than I do.

Dreamscaper manages to mesh the structure of a roguelike with the sharp writing of a slow boil character drama. While there are a few quirks to the combat, the mix of social elements and persistent themes of self-actualization and moving on with change come off aces. If you enjoy modern roguelikes but wish there was a bit more character and personality going on with the main cast, this is one to look into hands down.
