Se ancora non si fosse capito, abbiamo letteralmente adorato Indiana Jones e l'Antico Cerchio. Pur con le sue sbavature, le difficoltà tecniche specie nel passaggio tra la prima e la terza persona, uno stealth che può essere "rotto" un po' troppo facilmente, e un leggero stiracchiamento sull'ultima parte dell'avventura, non abbiamo paura di essere smentiti nel dichiarare che questa è la migliore esclusiva (temporale) di Xbox da parecchio tempo. È una bella avventura single player che funziona, diverte, coinvolge ed è praticamente adatta a tutti. E se poi siete pure fan di Indiana Jones traditi dalle ultime due pellicole, beh allora non potete proprio farvelo scappare.

For all it does to add value to the existing package, smooth over existing bumps and enhance presentation, FANTASIAN’s PC and console release is held back slightly by some of the fundamentals of the Apple Arcade original. But at the end of it all, Neo Dimension absolutely feels like the definitive version of an already-excellent little RPG that looks fondly back on Hironobu Sakaguchi’s gameography without using nostalgia as a crutch to skimp on innovation.

Fantasian Neo Dimension is Hironobu Sakaguchi and Mistwalker at their boldest and bravest, culminating in a JRPG love letter that both delights and frustrates. The stunning world and exploration are a true highlight, and the challenging and rewarding combat will enchant some, but it lacks some of the magic that the game is aiming for and the pacing is uneven. Normal difficulty makes things more accessible for the curious, but make no mistake, this is an RPG for those who want to lose themselves in the mechanics.

Skydance’s Behemoth s’impose d’ores et déjà comme un incontournable de la VR, même si certains aspects sont toujours discutables. La première rencontre avec ces titans est un moment fort, appuyé par une immersion de haute volée et un rythme soutenu qui nous maintient casque sur la tête des heures durant. Il faut avoir le cœur bien accroché pour survivre à ce condensé d’action, mais pour les joueurs les plus habitués à la VR, Behemoth mérite clairement le coup d’œil avec ses deux versions réussies, que ce soit sur Quest ou PS VR 2.

Non sappiamo se questo fosse il remake che aveva in mente il team, forse sì, ma rimane una domanda fissa nella testa: a chi è rivolto questo titolo? Vuole parlare all'utenza che lo giocò nel 1994 o alle nuove leve? Ci verrebbe da dire ai primi, ma quanti effettivamente furono così stregati al tempo da correre a spendere 30€ e rigiocarsi questo gioco oggi? Little Big Adventure - Twinsen's Quest non è pessimo, è che risulta complesso consigliarlo a chi non viva di attacchi di nostalgia anni '90, in quanto ha chiaramente dei limiti strutturali e il flusso di avanzamento non è particolarmente divertente, per quanto lo stile grafico sia indovinato e la storia, dignitosamente figlia di quell'era, rimanga graziosa. Dopodiché, è pur vero che è un cult che arricchirà la vostra cultura videoludica, specie se siete assetati di storie e biografie videoludiche europee.

Although I expected to play only as Lupin himself, the playful way in which Arsene Lupin: Once a Thief's narrative chronology is broken up between Lupin carrying out his heists and Ganimard trying to figure out how he does them is very fun. Some of the puzzles are fairly straightforward and overly forgiving, with unlimited tries and no repercussions when you do something wrong, but the more traditional investigative puzzling is rewarding to solve, and whenever I succeeded in linking evidence correctly, I felt as if I was donning a black cloak and top hat of my own in plotting my latest heist. The music is great, the isometric scenes fun to rotate and explore, and the supporting cast just begs to be fooled by Lupin. Since I’ve read some of the Leblanc books, I recognized some plot elements here and there, like how Lupin escapes his unavoidable arrest, but it’s certainly not necessary to know anything about the character going in. Just like his more famous British and Belgian contemporaries, Lupin is a character straight out of literary fiction who was long overdue a lead role, and I’m sure he will charm his way into the hearts of those who aren’t already familiar with his antics as well.
