Beyblade X: Xone recupera la formula classica della saga, proponendo un gameplay piuttosto semplice da comprendere e che, purtroppo, solo nella creazione dei Beyblade introduce una reale ed influente componente tattica. Gli sconti, difatti, sono dominati da un non secondario fattore fortuna legato alle Fasi X, mentre per la maggior parte del tempo ci si limita ad attaccare e a contrattaccare le offensive dell'avversario. In termini di varietà e profondità non aiuta di certo la trama del gioco, mero pretesto per legare tra loro gli scontri con il computer. Anche in termini artistici e tecnici siamo al minimo sindacabile, nonostante non ci aspettassimo chissà quale apporto in questo senso, vista la natura e il target di riferimento della produzione. Purtroppo anche sul multiplayer online si può muovere una piccola critica. Solido il netcode, ma l'impossibilità di scegliere avversari alla propria portata dà luogo spesso e volentieri a battaglie sbilanciate in un senso o nell'altro. In definitiva, Beyblade X: Xone è un titolo che non mancherà di allietare gli appassionati, ma che sul lungo periodo offre ben poco a causa di un gameplay che termina la sua progressione già dopo le prime battaglie.

Animal Well parece un metroidvania convencional, pero cuando lo juegas lo suficiente te das cuenta de que cuenta con alma propia, una esencia pixel-art deslumbrante, unos puzles de lo más ingeniosos y un nivel de acabado que sorprende si tienes en cuenta que es un indie hecho por una única persona. Puede ser muy retante (y a veces frustrante), pero si logras conectar con su mundo y filosofía jugable acabarás disfrutando de un título único y que desde ya es una de las mejoras sorpresas del año.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 è sporco, grezzo, pieno di piccoli spigoli che, a seconda dei casi, possono rendere frustrante tutta l'esperienza di gioco. Ma allora perché ne siamo così perdutamente innamorati? In un'epoca in cui si rischia sempre meno e in cui i publisher inseguono il "gioco per tutti", Asobo rincorre il futuro e assembla un simulatore sontuoso, un'evoluzione capace di colmare tutte le lacune di quello uscito nel 2020, che già rasentava la perfezione. Siamo certi che il team guidato da Jorg Neumann riuscirà a cancellare questa ruvidità del software, e quello che allora ci rimarrà tra le mani sarà un discreto capolavoro.

Despite its heavy-sounding subject matter, I was completely charmed by this narrative-focused drama. The idea of a main character influencing the people left behind after her death really speaks to the imagination. Humankind has pondered the mysteries of death for ages; we can fear it or we can embrace it, and this game isn’t afraid to explore grief, loss, and depression without becoming too bleak or overly religious in the process. It’s hard to say a game dealing with these emotions is “fun,” but in some ways it truly is, confronting you with your own helplessness when dealing with others, because you can’t suddenly force people to behave differently simply because you want them to. As a simulation of life, Closer the Distance very much succeeds. Certainly it plays on the feels, becoming a bit dramatic now and again with its artistic cutscenes, trying very hard to make you cry. But overall, this is a narrative that fits in with novels like Reservoir 13, Everything I Never Told You and The Lovely Bones – all dramas about a community dealing with grief and picking up the pieces after a traumatic event. If people still don’t believe video games can be art, they really should play this one!

A co-op action roguelite with simplistic, special move-based combat and some heroes that don’t quite pull their weight, which while fine in multiplayer is not satisfying enough to take on solo.

En naviguant à vue, Ravenswatch peut au départ s’avérer compliqué et frustrant à dompter, risquant de nous éloigner assez rapidement de sa proposition. Mais dès que l’on comprend la manière dont le jeu fonctionne et que l’on y adhère, alors l’éclaircie finit par apparaître et ne quitte plus le ciel de Reverie. Mis en valeur par des personnages travaillés et un gameplay aux petits oignons ne manquant pas d’exigence, le titre arrive alors à nous embarquer pour plusieurs dizaines d’heures au sein de son monde aussi charmant qu’impitoyable. En solo autant qu’en coop, c’est donc auprès d’un public bien préparé, organisé et tenace que l’expérience concoctée par Passtech Games fait mouche. Un très bon roguelike dont le suivi est assuré pour un moment.

STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl s’impose comme le digne successeur des précédents opus. Il offre un monde ouvert unique, porté par une ambiance folle et un cadre à la fois brutal et fascinant. Bien que l’on vous conseille d’attendre quelques correctifs pour stabiliser les bugs et améliorer l’optimisation, ce jeu reste une expérience incontournable pour ceux qui n’ont pas peur de vivre à la dure. Si la narration en dents de scie et l’approche furtive ratée laissent à désirer, le plaisir de parcourir la Zone et de survivre à ses innombrables dangers nous avait profondément manqué. STALKER 2 parvient, malgré ses imperfections, à capturer l’essence de la série en la modernisant comme il faut.
