Oddworld Soulstorm è un platform che rende giustizia a una pletora di fan che dal 1997 va in giro a ripetere "seguimi" - "ok", scimmiottando uno degli scambi dialettici che ha permesso ad Abe di salvare tutti i suoi compagni Mudokon. Riprendendo quello che era Abe's Exoddus, il team di sviluppo ha saputo confezionare un sequel alle avventure di Abe in grado di soddisfare chi voleva tornare a vivere quel level design grottesco e quella lotta alla sopravvivenza di un popolo sottomesso, ma le scelte in fase di gameplay restano spesso incomprensibili, a partire dalla volontà di salvaguardare delle meccaniche anacronistiche e che si sposano a fatica con i giorni d'oggi. Indossati gli occhiali della nostalgia, salvare i Mudokon non sarà un problema, ma dovrete essere in grado di andare fino in fondo e accettare più di dieci ore in queste condizioni precarie.
