Animal Well is a veritable feast of brain teasers that’s far more concerned with twisting your mind into knots than any grueling platforming challenges. It’s lovely to look at thanks to gorgeous pixel art and dynamic lighting, and an excellent use of haptics and well-tuned physics systems make it fun to touch, too. Animal Well’s steadily unlocked toybox of tools thoroughly rewards play, curiosity, and experimentation for hours upon hours after the credits roll. Though that late-game maze of mind-teasers might grate once in a while if you’re reluctant to ask for help, the massive onion of Animal Well’s secrets remains dense, clever, and thrilling even when you’ve peeled back as many layers as you think you possibly can… and then peeled a few more beyond that.

Lunar Lander: Beyond Lunar Lander: Beyond è una fantastica rivisitazione retrò, con un gameplay teso, adrenalinico ed al cardiopalma. Il sistema di stress è fantastico e aggiunge un ulteriore livello di profondità a quello che sarebbe potuto essere semplicemente un gioco in stile arcade meno ponderato e sicuramente più immediato. La difficoltà è sicuramente un elemento da tenere in considerazione, in quanto è davvero tarata verso l'alto e potrebbe far desistere chi è alla ricerca di un'avventura fantascientifica più alla portata; per il resto vale assolutamente la pena di giocare a Lunar Lander: Beyond, e soprattutto se avete nostalgia dell'era Atari, siamo sicuri che lo adorerete. V Rising has been nicely polished up during its dark slumber in Early Access, allowing it to fully rise to the occasion with its excellent boss design and challenging ARPG combat. Keeping the killing rays of the sun and your dwindling blood supply as ongoing concerns is effective and evocative in selling the vampire fantasy, as is the ability to craft the sprawling, spooky estates of my nightmares. And the huge amount of customization available when setting up your own private server practically eliminates the need to do chores that are timed to real-world days in a way that only really makes sense for playing with a larger clan and having those timers going even when you're not online. Arise, ye children of the night, and sink your teeth into one of the best ARPGs – and one of the best vampire games, in general – of this moonlit age.

Another Crab's Treasure Another Crab's Treasure è una divertente e coloratissima incursione nel mondo dei soulslike nei panni di un paguro ingenuo che vuole solo riavere la sua casa. Il team di sviluppo Aggro Crab, non sazio di aver dimostrato come il genere non sia sinonimo solo di serietà tragica ed ambientazioni plumbee, si spinge anche oltre ibridandone la formula con elementi di platforming da action adventure. Il risultato finale è decisamente apprezzabile, seppur non manchino alcune ingenuità, soprattutto di level design. Preparatevi: combattere nelle profondità marine non è mai stato così divertente. Le jeu est surprenant, graphiquement il est réussi et l'immersion est complète. Toutefois, une certaine difficulté de gestion est là, et la première partie est faite de tâtonnements, avant de comprendre que le but final est un jeu de gestion de village, plus que de vie sauvage et seul, malheureusement. Plus on avance dans son village moins le plaisir de chasse, bûcheronnage et récolte est présent puisque nos loyaux sujets le font pour nous... Mais un plaisir de jouer, surtout les premiers instants du jeu, et quel moment incroyable d'être en hauteur à chaque saison et regarder l'horizon... On pourrait le faire des heures... Bien fourni en quêtes pour ceux qui en veulent mais non obligatoires.

Vivimos en una época en la que se están recuperando muchos juegos de hace 20 y 30 años con resultados magníficos, y reconstruyendo de diferentes grados el concepto original. En este contexto, Front Mission 2: Remake se siente muy por debajo de la norma. Se echan en falta mejoras, se percibe un resultado visual poco atractivo y hay varios errores de traducción y usabilidad que estropean la experiencia. Hay un gran juego debajo de todos estos defectos, si tienes la paciencia para llegar hasta él.

Indika è stato uno strano viaggio, che abbiamo vissuto tutto in una sera. Vuole essere un'esperienza narrativa e null'altro, lì dove offre un gameplay quasi da walking simulator nella sua essenzialità. Ciò che conta è il suo essere leggibile su più livelli e il non lasciare davvero niente al caso a livello di rappresentazione. Insomma, fatevi un favore e giocateci: vi ritroverete con un'opera capace di guardarvi dentro e di farvi sviluppare una visione diversa del videogioco. Oppure potete viverla solo come una buona storia.

With cross-play and save, a wealth of convenience options, and even more coming down the pirate pipeline, this may be the perfect time to brave the Sea of Thieves.

Another Crab’s Treasure es el soplo de aire fresco que demandaba el género. Es un videojuego en el que fácilmente se puede caer en prejuicios, pero es una demostración del talento y maestría que tienen en Aggro Crab: una aventura divertidísima y repleta de sorpresas, que sabe sacar el máximo provecho al género al tiempo que se lo lleva a su terreno. Tiene algún que otro excesivo pico de dificultad y algunas secciones de plataformeo no terminan de estar bien ejecutadas, pero todo lo demás es un derroche de virtudes y buenas ideas que bien merecen darle una oportunidad.

All in all though, while Wrath: Aeon of Ruin has some potential and nails the retro-style FPS gameplay, it does so with a few too many sour points to really make it stand out in the FPS crowd. Gunplay can be fun, and the powers are a great touch, but the levels are too long and too repetitive to really have us itching to keep coming back to go through them, especially if played with the default manual save options.

MotoGP 24 ha uno dei migliori comparti di fisica e gestione della moto che si ricordi. I giocatori veterani, che non hanno bisogno di aiuti alla guida e cercano solo di strappare un centesimo di secondo al loro tempo sul giro, troveranno tra i suoi circuiti l'esperienza più rifinita in termini di simulazione che Milestone abbia prodotto fino ad ora. I nuovi arrivati, invece, si scontreranno contro un muro di difficile accessibilità per via della mancanza di un tutorial organico, di una racing line che non fa bene il suo lavoro e di un'intelligenza artificiale sregolata nella gestione dei rivali e del livello di difficoltà. Per fortuna le fondamenta di questo gioco sono solidissime: con un'occhiata approfondita ai parametri che regolano l'intelligenza artificiale e i suoi interventi sul gameplay, Milestone potrebbe avere tra le mani uno dei suoi capitoli migliori. L'anno prossimo, però, ci aspettiamo un'esperienza per nuovi giocatori ripensata dalle fondamenta, così da rendere il gioco accessibile anche a chi si sta avvicinando al mondo delle corse motociclistiche.
