Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 non è un brutto gioco, ma è la classica produzione fotocopia indirizzata ai soli appassionati del genere, che non pretende quindi di coinvolgere dei nuovi giocatori. Da questo punto di vista è aiutato anche da un prezzo molto accessibile, che convincerà sicuramente chi ha apprezzato l'episodio precedente a fare il salto verso questo. Tutti gli altri possono ignorarlo senza troppi drammi, ma con la consapevolezza che se un giorno dovessero sviluppare la passione per i monster truck, è verso la serie di Rainbow che dovranno guardare.

Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 chausse de nouveaux pneus XXL mais demeure en substance une « suite » pas beaucoup mieux gonflée que l’édition 2019. Facile à jouer, facile à appréhender pour sa structure on ne peut plus carrée et dans l’ensemble assez sympathique à regarder, Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 se pose cependant comme un jeu qui cumule encore trop d’imperfections pour être celui qui va nous rabibocher sans réserve avec le genre. Gérable mais imprécis, pas moche mais sans éclat, plus fourni que son prédécesseur mais pas beaucoup plus engageant sur la durée : Monster Jam Steel Titans 2 se laisse jouer, au moins quelques heures de temps en temps, idéalement en multijoueur local pour quelques rigolades… Presque comme au bon vieux temps.

La versione PS5 di Yakuza: Like a Dragon consegna anche agli utenti Sony un'esperienza tecnicamente irreprensibile, grazie all'ottima modalità grafica a 1440p e 60 fps, nonché a caricamenti davvero istantanei. È un peccato che questa edizione next-gen non sia compatibile con i salvataggi effettuati su PS4, vista anche la possibilità di effettuare l'upgrade gratuito: considerata la lunghezza e la corposità dell'esperienza, ricominciarla da capo potrebbe non essere nelle vostre corde, ma magari avete apprezzato così tanto il nuovo approccio in stile jRPG da voler sperimentare nuovi mestieri e possibilità. Nessun problema invece per chi comincia da capo: preferivamo il sistema di combattimento action, ma la narrazione, le ambientazioni e i protagonisti di Like a Dragon non potranno lasciarvi indifferenti.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest managed to capture what I enjoyed about the choose your own adventure games of childhood and wrapped it up with an engaging tale, full of interesting scenarios, characters, and outcomes. There’s minimal visual/audio presentation, but what’s here still helps to craft a great atmosphere in addition to almost 120,000 words full of thousands of variations. If you’re after something along the lines of Telltale’s best work, then Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest comes highly recommended.

Breathedge may launch survival games into the final frontier, but it brings some of the worst tropes of the genre along with it… before abandoning that genre entirely in favor of a linear story propelled by hit-and-miss humor. It's all style over substance, looking great on the surface without much of interest underneath that polish. Without much sense of progression or accomplishment and exploration hampered by an obnoxious oxygen system, it relies too heavily on the initial novelty of floating around and the occasional decent joke. Breathedge just isn't fun to play.

Blue Fire is a real mixed bag. For all of the enjoyable platforming, there is the annoying combat. For all of the exploration, as you dash and jump around Penumbra, you can easily lose a chunk of time through game crashes. Despite all of the issues that frustrated me, I still really enjoyed the game when it would let me. If you're willing to risk the game crashing now and then, Blue Fire happens to be quite the platformer.
