Endless Ocean: Luminous attempts to revive a niche Wii franchise as an online exploration experience, and fails miserably in the process. In comparison to the likes of Subnautica, this is an empty, cold, and boring ocean space to explore, devoid of any real reason to play beyond its generally relaxing ambiance and the opportunity to learn some facts about underwater animals. Even taken on those terms, it's weak, its online play is basic and bland, and its story does little to engage beyond teaching you the ropes. It didn't need to be this boring, but it is.

S’il éclabousse de sa fraîcheur durant ses premières heures, Another Crab’s Treasure s’essouffle par moments jusqu’à nous laisser un sentiment final particulier, partagé entre la lassitude de ses derniers instants et la déception qu’un jeu si intéressant sur le papier se prenne un peu les pieds dans le tapis. Car avec son pitch décalé, original, mais qui tape juste, et un gameplay très agréable qui parvient à proposer sa touche personnelle, le titre d’Aggro Crab avait de quoi garder la tête haute face aux autres Souls-like. Hélas, une dernière ligne droite qui se transforme finalement en portion d’autoroute, un équilibrage progressivement dissous et, surtout, une technique en difficulté gâchent la bonne impression générale. Bien qu’il soit plaisant, Another Crab’s Treasure rate donc la marche qui le sépare d’une expérience solide de bout en bout.

TopSpin 2K25 è sostanzialmente una versione migliorata di Top Spin 4: Hangar 13 non ha voluto rischiare ed è andata sul sicuro. Anche a distanza di un decennio il gameplay della serie è nettamente il migliore sul mercato: con un impianto grafico current-gen e un paio di modalità in più ci saremmo trovati davanti a un piccolo gioiello. Così, solo a un buon titolo.

Sea of Thieves is a blast when playing with friends. With its focus on cosmetic customisation, we slipped into the pirate’s life with ease – even after six years of updates and seasonal changes. Its natural and immersive approach to navigation makes it a seafaring sandbox well worth visiting, and a focus on cosmetics over high-tier loot make it a game you can play at your own pace. It’s a delight to steadily come to grips with the mechanics of the game too, whether that be how to outmanoeuvre enemy ships or sell your loot with quickened efficiency. It might not have the same level of grind that a lot of players look for in a live service game, but there’s endless pirate fun to be had here, and we’re glad that PlayStation players finally have the opportunity to join in on the swashbuckling chaos.

No todos los tesoros son de oro y plata. Sea of Thieves aterriza en PlayStation 5 volviendo a demostrar que esta aventura pirata cooperativa es esa experiencia que muchos buscan, pero que pocos encuentran. No se trata de un juego perfecto, pero ojalá todo el mundo pudiera enrolarse en este barco.

Entre retour aux sources et modernisation, Endless Ocean Luminous a le mérite de faire revenir dans le grand bassin de la Switch une licence chère aux fans de la Wii. Au regard des améliorations apportées, on regrettera d’y avoir perdu, au moins en partie, ce qui faisait le sel (marin) des précédents opus. Mais nul doute que cette nouvelle itération trouvera son public auprès des amateurs d’expériences reposantes et des explorateurs en herbe. Les plongées en multijoueur sont peut-être le plus gros potentiel du jeu, si elles parviennent à mobiliser une communauté régulière. Malgré tout, sans être une véritable douche froide, pour une fois, on aurait peut-être préféré un remake ou un remaster sur la console hybride de Nintendo plutôt qu’un nouvel opus. Ainsi, on aurait pardonné plus facilement la comparaison avec des licences nouvellement apparues entre temps, qui ont apporté tant de matière au genre de l'exploration sous-marine. Un opus un peu faible, en somme.

No es un juego para todo el mundo, pero sí uno que jamás nos cansaremos de recomendar. Si El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron HD Remaster logra haceros "click", nunca vais a poder olvidar este "hack and slash bíblico".

The video game adaptation of Sand Land brings one of Akira Toriyama's lesser-known works into the spotlight. It follows the source material well and cleverly expands on the story, but the gameplay is lacking.

Nul doute que votre appréciation du titre dépendra de votre attachement au mangaka nous ayant quitté en mars dernier. Sand Land a ce je ne sais quoi d'une petite sucrerie vidéoludique. Loin des titres se prenant trop au sérieux, ou voulant toujours surenchérir dans un domaine quelconque, le jeu parvient à délivrer l'essence de l'oeuvre de Toriyama, tout en y ajoutant une autre partie de l'histoire entre-aperçue dans la série animée. Si Sand Land se permet certaines libertés, c'est pour rendre le tout plus digeste. De même, son gameplay accessible permettra à l'ensemble de la famille de profiter de cette aventure sans frustrer qui que ce soit. Néanmoins, le format monde ouvert couplé avec de nombreux allers-retours futiles accentue le sentiment de répétitivité. De même, et comme expliqué plut tôt, Sand Land reste dans les clous sans jamais chercher à innover, ce qui pourrait frustrer plus d'un joueur espérant plus qu'une simple, mais néanmoins terriblement efficace, adaptation de manga.
