Un vero e proprio Must-Have Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time è il sequel che tutti i fan del simpaticissimo bandicoot stavano aspettando da oltre 22 anni. Il lavoro effettuato dal team di sviluppo è veramente ottimo sia lato gameplay che lato tecnico. Solo ci aspettavamo più spazio per Cortex, Dingodile e Tawna. Nonostante il peso degli anni e le origini per console handheld, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel si presenta ancora oggi come una produzione galvanizzante. Il profondo e articolato sistema di combattimento, l’indimenticabile caratterizzazione dei personaggi e il magistrale operato di world building compiuto a suo tempo da Nihon Falcom trascendono il tempo e regalano agli appassionati del genere una delle esperienze ruolistiche più convincenti e mature dell’ultimo decennio. Il comparto tecnico arretrato di una generazione e mezza gli impedisce di puntare all’eccellenza, ma il team ha comunque saputo compensare le varie magagne tecniche con accorgimenti mirati a migliorare l’esperienza e snellire le fasi meno appaganti del pacchetto. Assieme al secondo episodio, che purtroppo è stato venduto separatamente, la versione rimasterizzata di Trails of Cold Steel può essere quindi considerata l’edizione definitiva di un JRPG già solido e memorabile, nonché il perfetto starting point per gettarsi a capofitto nell’epica saga di The Legend of Heroes.

Con un excelente trabajo audiovisual, Mafia Definitive Edition logra mantenerse a la altura convirtiéndose gracias al trabajo de Hangar 13 en un título de esta generación en todos sus aspectos, no obstante el juego adolece los problemas de su longevidad, y estos se traducen en mecánicas algo anticuadas debido a la excesiva linealidad del desarrollo del juego y una desaprovechada ciudad que podría haber dado mucho mas de si. No obstante, el juego es sin duda toda una declaración de intenciones y un indispensable para los amantes del género del cine negro, todo un trabajo para cerrar una saga impecable.
