Serious Sam 4 has done seriously well for a series that hasn’t seen a mainline game in nearly 10 years. Croteam went all out on this one and has filled it to the brim with rewarding gameplay, hidden goodies, and a great soundtrack to boot. Unfortunately, there are a few kinks in this pipe, such as the sub-par story, weird character models and animations, and other gameplay bugs. But no doubt, you’ll only be interested in carving through hundreds, if not thousands, of enemies with a huge arsenal of skills, weapons, and gadgets, and that’s exactly what Serious Sam 4 has done so well.

Serious Sam 4 è lo sparatutto ideale per chi vuole smettere di pensare e vuole dedicarsi a compiere autentiche carneficine di alieni e mostri. La storia è solo un orpello, la difficoltà è piuttosto elevata e tecnicamente non brilla, ma se puntate al solo divertimento e alla spensieratezza (e se ovviamente siete fan di Sam Stone), il nuovo capitolo della serie di Croteam potrebbe meritare una chance.

Un must-have per i fan Marvel's Avengers è un titolo da cui ci aspettavamo tanto, specialmente in virtù del fatto che si tratta di un brand importante per la cultura pop attuale e purtroppo parliamo di un progetto con tante possibilità, ma sfruttate in maniera non eccellente. Bisogna però ammettere che la campagna in single player è veramente ben fatta, tanto da far dimenticare quella serie di sbavature e bug che affliggono il titolo. Tutto questo è accompagnato dall'amore che gli sviluppatori hanno per il brand e per i suoi fan. PRO - Narrazione molto buona, ricca di spunti interessanti - Gameplay veloce e semplice - Comparto artistico di pregevole fattura CONTRO - Troppi bug - Prestazioni su current-gen un po' sotto tono - Modalità multigiocatore eccessivamente ripetitiva

Mafia Definitive Edition è un'operazione coraggiosa, sia per il materiale d'origine particolarmente amato dagli appassionati, sia per lo scopo ambizioso che si è posto, ovvero proporre un rifacimento che fosse al contempo anche un ampliamento. La portata di questo sforzo è graffiata solo parzialmente da un comparto tecnico sottotono su console rispetto alle aspettative che ci eravamo fatti provandolo su PC, e da un'offerta ludica che, pur sfruttando la variegata base dell'originale, non registra progressi da un Mafia III limitato nelle meccaniche. Ne è uscito un remake fedele quando ricalca pedissequamente il gioco originale e capace nelle diversità di cogliere il senso (o almeno uno dei sensi) dell'opera del 2002 di Illusion Softworks.
