Ο πνευματικός απόγονος του Coma διακρίνεται σε οπτικοακουστικό επίπεδο και παράλληλα μας αφηγείται μια ενδιαφέρουσα ιστορία που θα αγγίξει τις ευαίσθητες χορδές σας, ωστόσο δεν καταφέρνει να καινοτομήσει σε επίπεδο gameplay. Ενδεχομένως αν είχε δοθεί λίγη παραπάνω έμφαση στο exploration και στον εξευγενισμό των Metroidvania στοιχείων θα μπορούσαμε να το δούμε με καλύτερο μάτι. Η έλλειψη καινοτομιών βέβαια δεν σημαίνει ότι θα πρέπει να το προσπεράσετε, καθώς συνολικά πρόκειται για μια αξιόλογη δημιουργία που αξίζει την προσοχή σας.

We Should Talk is an interesting first effort from the small team at Insatiable Cycle, but it feels more like a beta than a finished product. There's just not enough content here to justify taking the time to check out this narrative adventure.

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 non può mancare nella collezione di chi ha apprezzato il primo capitolo, di cui rappresenta un'evoluzione complessiva davvero riuscita, e di chi ama la serie classica di Castlevania (di cui Konami ci ha reso orfani da ormai troppi anni). In effetti forse è meglio iniziare a salutare i Bloodstained come i veri eredi di quell'esperienza, senza stare ad aspettare la grazia di un publisher ormai completamente disinteressato a un mercato in cui non trova più da anni le soddisfazioni economiche che cerca. La sostanza è che Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 oltre a essere un ottimo titolo in sé, è anche parte di un progetto che va supportato nel suo complesso, se si ama un certo tipo di giochi.

Creaks is another winner from Amanita that should satisfy both fans of their unique, abstract style and their penchant for head-scratching puzzles – albeit now in a controller-friendly new gameplay format. It’ll also speak to a very particular type of person as the narrative’s surprises start to reveal themselves, so it’ll be interesting to see who picks the big reveal ahead of time and who doesn’t. All in all, if you’re a fan of the studio’s work or enjoy challenging, indie puzzle-platformers you’re sure to dig Creaks.
