At its best, Expeditions offers more of the absorbing, slow, and high-risk driving that made MudRunner and SnowRunner such cult successes. It's a clever formula that now has slightly more user-friendly packaging, making it easier than ever to get into. There are still wrinkles, in particular with visual performance, and there's no doubt that this remains a niche that not all petrolheads will love, but if you're on the lookout for something a bit more zen, it's another great entry in the series.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game Con Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, Saber Interactive decide di portare la propria serie simulativa verso territori selvaggi con un cambio di prospettiva. Largo a spedizioni scientifiche da preparare minuziosamente, tra il recupero di carichi preziosi al salvataggio di mezzi dispersi, passando per gli inevitabili intoppi lungo il percorso da risolvere con perizia e mestiere. Da questo punto di vista, il nuovo capitolo spin-off della serie MudRunner tende sorprendentemente la mano ai puzzle game, mettendo il player in situazioni da superare con il metodo giusto al momento giusto grazie alla piena consapevolezza delle proprie risorse. Tuttavia, l'approccio prettamente simulativo potrebbe non essere adatto per ogni palato: se non volete sclerare per l'ennesimo mezzo impantanato nel fango, le strade asfaltate potrebbero fare maggiormente al caso vostro. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Final Fantasy VII Rebirth è, senza mezzi termini, un capolavoro assoluto nonché il miglior titolo targato Square Enix degli ultimi anni. Un'opera monumentale nella quale si respira l'amore per l'opera originaria, qui ripercorsa ed ampliata, e che mostra alle nuove generazioni il vero spirito di una saga capace di conquistare i cuori di milioni di fan. C'è chi potrà muovere alcune critiche nei confronti di talune scelte narrative (a nostro giudizio, da valutarsi globalmente solo con l'arrivo del terzo e conclusivo capitolo), dell'eccessiva abbondanza di contenuti e di alcune sbavature tecniche (soprattutto della modalità Performance). Ma si tratta di minuzie che spariscono di fronte alla grandezza di quest'opera, capace di ricordare a tutto il mondo che il Giappone è sempre pronto a stupire e meravigliare. While personally I don’t think Brother: A Tale of Two Sons Remake feels like an essential release, it’s still a welcome and faithful reimagining. Its gentle pace and dark themes are sure to inspire many to spend a few hours traipsing across its beautiful magical land, even if I believe that those dark themes don’t ultimately crystallise into something truly cohesive. The visual makeover is at least profound and breathes new life into the title, and this is certainly the definitive way to experience the tragic yet heartwarming tale of our two suffering siblings.
