Ainsi, Ash of Gods est un bon jeu, qui présente de très bonnes idées, mais avec toujours une marge de progression possible. S’il est plein d’inspirations, le titre amène aussi pas mal de nouveaux éléments qui lui permettent d’être unique en son genre. Il s’agit d’une expérience fun, pleine de bonne volonté et d’idées, ce qui promet de belles choses pour d’autres titres du genre à l’avenir.

Schade, da war mehr drin! Auch wenn mich 7th Sector zunächst neugierig gemacht hat, weil es als „Cyberpunk-Abenteuer“ angekündigt wurde und mich ein wenig an Oddworld erinnerte, verliert es in den knapp vier Stunden leider schnell seine Anziehungskraft. Anstatt sich komplett auf kreative Rätsel zu konzentrieren, die für angenehm fordernde, aber immer logische Unterhaltung sorgen und mich in stimmungsvoller dystopischer Kulisse grübeln lassen, wird man plötzlich mit Actioneinlagen konfrontiert. Angesichts der trägen Steuerung und der nervigen Situationen, die sich aus engen Zeitfenstern und hakeligen Physikspielereien ergeben, ertappt man sich immer öfter beim Fluchen – hier hat das Spieldesign einfach den Fokus verloren. Aufgrund einiger charmanter Momente, alternativer Wege und kreativer Ideen reicht es unterm Strich aber für eine befriedigende Wertung

Patapon 2 Remastered fails to compensate for the fact that the Sony PSP was a very different device from the PlayStation 4, and in the end, controller latency sinks this classic game adaptation. If the game had compensated for the particulars of its new home, it may have been immensely enjoyable – the core of a great game is intact. But as it stands, Patapon 2 is frustrating and unfun.

To reiterate my statement at the top of this article; if you’ve never played a Monster Energy Supercross title, go ahead and get this. It’s every bit as good as previous versions. But if you’ve played either of the previous entries in the Monster Energy Supercross series, you’re probably best off waiting for a sale or skip this as there just isn’t enough to warrant a full price purchase.
