A Hat in Time is a hugely enjoyable take on the classic 3D platformer. The tight, familiar controls and varied, innovative levels result in one of the most fascinating and entertaining games out there. The issues with performance and the camera do little to wipe the smile from our faces while playing through this; if you adore the likes of Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, then you'll fall utterly in love with A Hat in Time.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare reboots the franchise with solid success throughout. The campaign takes a more serious tone and nails it in some truly admirable ways, though it could have used a few extra missions or story beats. It resets the plot for the MW series and offers a lot of potential for the future. The multiplayer doesn’t hold a lot of surprise, but it certainly expands players’ options. If you want straight-up action, hardcore tactics, or massive battles you’ll find it here. It may not be the best version of that type of game, but it’s there to play and all with classic COD gunplay at the core.

Cat Quest II is a simple and fun RPG which I found quite enjoyable to play and it seems like it has plenty of content to get your claws into. The story line is not deep, but it doesn’t need to be when its about a cat and dog, and they fill it with cat puns to try and keep things interesting. But the combat in this game can come across as repetitive and having to read the same pun-filled dialogue every time you fail a dungeon is far from purrfect.

Siamo ormai giunti alla fine di questa recensione su Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered ed è quindi arrivato il momento di tirare un po’ le somme. L’esperienza risulta in pieno stile acchiappafantasmi, proprio come nella versione originale. Sebbene si possa godere di un buon gameplay generale, nonostante alcuni cali di frame importanti, il comparto tecnico lascia alquanto a desiderare. Le texture così come i modelli sono rimasti fissi nel tempo, facendo risultare la remastered più un porting che una “restaurazione” dell’originale. Molto carente risulta anche il comparto audio, privo del doppiaggio italiano presente nella versione originale. Neanche i video cinematici sono all’altezza. Noi abbiamo riscontrato dei problemi sulla nostra versione PC che hanno fatto storcere il naso e rendono impossibile godersi la storia. Insomma, una remastered che di remastered ha solamente il nome. Return of the Obra Dinn lives up to the hype, and then some. It’s a beautifully crafted and intricately constructed detective mystery unlike anything you’ve played before with a harrowing narrative at its centre. Unravelling its secrets takes time and requires patience, but you’ll be glad you allowed the story to play out at its own pace. What we have here is a thoroughly unique experience that will stay with you, and is among best this genre has ever had to offer.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is an amazing next chapter in the series. Its story campaign alone is enough to warrant a buy. It’s not just the graphics, the characters, or the amazing multiplayer that makes it a must buy, it’s the charm that the developers have dialed into this game. Every minute playing feels like you’re on track to discover something ridiculously funny and over the top. Though there are a few key tweaks needed to make the battles spot on, it’s the culmination of other things that make this a great game.

On ne peut pas le nier, Stranded Sails – Explorers of the Cursed Islands rend une très bonne copie. Mêlant très bien le côté « farming » à l’aventure, il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour charmer de nombreux joueurs. Une intrigue assez accessible, des personnages attachants et des graphismes plutôt mignons rendent le tout attirant. Une aventure relaxante à mettre entre les mains des petits et grands. Pas exempt de défauts, il reste malgré tout un excellent passe-temps et saura, sans aucun doute, combler vos désirs d’agriculture !

Deliver Us The Moon offers a strong mystery on Earth’s natural satellite. Plentiful world interaction, detailed environments, and a good structure help with pacing, although linearity and a lack of definitive answers make for a rough landing.
